I ordered 3 - 5 gallon buckets of supplies from Augason Farms (through Sams Club). I met the FedEx guy at his truck to help him carry it. He said, "Are these grains?". I said, nope, freeze dried foods. He said, "I just delivered 18 of these a couple stops ago".

I wonder what the actual numbers of folks stocking up are?

Sams may direct ship from Augafarms. Boxes were in perfect shape. Reasonable shipping and the best price I could find on the big pail of powdered eggs and veggie meat substitute. Best bang for the buck IMO for protein, min. fat per $. The veggie based meat product probably isn't the best tasting, but with some taco seasoning and hot sauce, it will be fine. Planning on ordering a smaller can to practice recipes.

Also ordered a 10 lb pail of freeze dried potato slices. it was super cheap, so i figured i'd add it to the order.

Not too worried about the delivery guys. there will always be folks who order more who live closer to them. besides, he has delivered enough ammo to know there are easier marks. Having it shipped to your UPS box of USPS PO box still has someone who knows what you're getting. Unless you drive a car with no plates to a wholesaler and pay cash with a fake beard and sun glasses, there will always be some one who knows your business.

Unwise. I don't buy anything that would look suspicious to a delivery driver. You are giving the game away. Consider:

A two years supply of food.
14x 50 lb. bags of white rice, $16.97 ea
10x 10 lb. bags of beans, $6.88 ea.
5x 10 lb. bottles of oil, $8 ea.
16x 3 lb. cans of meat, $7.88 ea.
4x 10 lb. bags of sugar, $6.45 ea.
2x 4 lb. cans of salt, $0.98 ea.
That comes to $501.20, according to my spreadsheet.

I can buy this in a few trips to the local Sam's Club and no one is the wiser. It's also cheaper. And more flexible and nutritious -- you can make many different dishes with this.
Correct. I do that also. The stuff I order are things I can't get at Sams (or locally) or do myself (powdered eggs, quantity of veggie protein meatlike stuff).

My cover was blown long ago because I get firearms delivered to my house (i have an FFL). If given the choice of marauding a house with an old couple or mine with LOTS of ammo, guns, 2 big dogs...i think they will go the route of least resistance. Besides, if things get that bad, they will arrive to my house to find an empty shell with no (or minimal) supplies. My family and I will be at one of our BOLs.
