1911's

I must be very lucky. I got the one that is flawless and extremely accurate.:)
The only problem that we have seen in our classes is the same old limp wrist that all 1911's will not tolerate. We have 4 Sig 1911's and all came out of the box working like they had been to a first rate gunsmith.

Anybody do a Robar job on their Sig? I have a P226 MK25 that I am contemplating a NP3 Plus package on. I deep-down cannot stand this BS "Nitron" finish and combined with the wierd texture of the anodized frame, I *really* wish I saved up for the Cerakote'd Desert model. However, I do thing I might LOVE the Robar NP3 + refinishing. Plus I like something everyone doesn't have, a standout, and a NP3 MK25 would be just that.

My question is, how slick feeling and how shiny looking are they really? Because I've seen some pics that kinda disappointed me, not nearly as shiny as chrome or electroless nickel. And while it might be hugely corrosion resistant, I am not going saltwater SEAL'ing anytime soon. SO it's really looks and feel to me.

Anyway, anyone gots the info on this? Thanks

I own an old but very nice P6 from West Germany. The civilian version is the p225. I polished the feed ramp so it shoots hollow points well and put on night sights. I now doubt that I should have got those sites and stuck with the factory ones.
Anyway, I always seem to shoot low and to the left with this Sig. I dont with any other hand gun. Ive questioned the pistol but every Sig owner says its my grip or my action on the trigger that makes me shoot this pistol low and to the left.

What say you?
