Don't start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 1911's, 229 Scorpion and a P238 Scorpion in about 6 months. The most reliable out of the box guns that I have ever seen.

Question, the thread protector keeps loosening how do I keep it from coming off without using pliers to crank it tighter

 

One drop of nail polish or blue loctite on the threads...ONE drop though...no more.

 

My two P226's

 

3 inch 1911, P220 carry, P226,and the next one is gonna be an M11-A1. Sigs are like beautiful woman. They are expensive but when you get to use them, it's easy to see why. Also have a BHP but my wife won't give it back and that goes with that beautiful woman thing.

 

I have a SIG P226 Extreme, and a SIG M400. Both are great firearms.

 

I got a smokin' deal on an SP2022 and couldn't be happier with it. I'm sure I'll try another of their models someday, when there is a bit more money in the gun fund.

 

I started with a 2022 and sold it for my first 226

I just like the feel of them and the quality.

Im saving up to get a 2022, even though I have a 320 and honestly think its the best gun on the market (thats just my opinion).

Edit: In the 250 video, daughter and I shot f'in *1,000* rounds of reloaded 9mm from CTD, zero disappoints in ammo AND weapon!

The only 2 Sigs I have, drooling over others...

How many of you ccw a full sized sig daily?

 

I carried my 2022 for a few weeks, having previously carried a Steyr M9 and finding that the IWB holster I already owned fit the Sig quite nicely. That was the last double-stack semi that I CC'd, switching to a Bersa BP9cc shortly after, but not through any fault of the Sig. It was more a matter of deciding that I wanted something slimmer since I always carry IWB.

 

My EDC at present is a S&W 638 Bodyguard in the pocket and a SIG 229 DAK on my belt for both on duty and off duty. I also will occasionally swap out the off duty SIG for a Beretta 92D or 96D. Full size handguns work well for me when carried inside the waistband at the 4 o'clock position. I also am a "hefty" (fat) fellow.

 

My daily is the 1911. I do carry the P226 fairly often.
