Ahh yes, the best part of owning an SKS is the cheap ammo that is still available.

If you have any inkling on wanting to stock up, but that stuff cheap now and stack it deep. The surplus will dry up before to much longer.

 

Most of the 7.62x39 isn't surplus...it's new ammo...sure you can find some surplus in tins, but the majority of the x39 stuff out there is current ammo.

If you are new to this caliber or foreign ammo, check to make sure it is NON-CORROSIVE. Wouldn't want to see that nice investment get all scaly and scabby................ Sometimes at $100.00 per 1k you end up with that. Just watchin out for ya......:thumb:

Yeah you did good. Hope she enjoys the SKS they are good shooting rifles and the Russians and Norincos are the best ones!!
