I want a cheap extra gun to keep for a backup, the Nagant at 125.00 or the Tokarev at 225.00. What do you think?
Wow, so narrow minded and naive. Crackheads will steal anything worth anything that isn't bolted down to something too heavy to move with a couple friends. And that is your "most likely" perpetrator. And I bet you think they'll be black or brown-skinned as well, huh? And if your pigment enhanced culprit is the one breaking into your car they'll still take it. It's still worth something even if they don't know how little.I keep an 1895 in the glove box as a back up emergency gun with the thought that if my car got broken into it would only be a $87 gun that got stolen. Plus the fact that it would not be appealing to the gang-banger type that would most likely be the one stealing it.
I forgot thatThe Nagant is the only revolver I know of that can be effectively suppressed because the cylinder forms a gas seal with the barrel.
Combat? Who said combat? However all the ammo I have ever seen if existent was ridiculously expensive for what it offers in combat use.
When was the last time you looked for 762x25? Surplus seems to be dried up for now.The TT-33 fires 7.62x25mm which can still be gotten and at very good prices in surplus Yugoslavian and Romanian manufactured ammo.
