All's quiet here in Steuben county, NY. Well, except for a turtle protesting against my cutting the lawn behind my garage. I moved him to the first amendment zone, (the pond).

 

I do love that...if I were raising kids, I'd point to the corner and call it a 'first amendment zone'..."go cry into the corner" would be gone as a phrase.

 

Honestly who cares if they Riot. These people are full of hate and racism. They obviously didn't watch the trial. I can't image too many people are really concerned about these clowns. Especially survivalists. In the trial it wasn't innocent until proven guilty especially thanks to the media and our own justice department. Thank God his defense team was able to PROVE he was innocent. If I was him I would fricken sue EVERYBODY. His life is ruined. Poor guy. How screwed up is our pathetic society?

 

I haven't personally rioted yet...but the day is still young.

I don't understand something , a Hispanic guy shoots a black guy and is found not guilty by 6 women. But its the white mans fault o_0

 

More like a Jewish guy, but who cares its not about him this whole show and pony was about them thinking mob rule works, not here, or at least for now but with republican and democrat spineless politicians who knows in the future.

It's been quiet here, but our little town's police force was out in full force and very public all yesterday and this morning (and I assume last night).

I will say this, though. For the first time in my civilian life, I went to bed with 4 locked and loaded weapons, and had to give my wife a safety/weapon's briefing before she laid her little head on the pillow. I resent any culture/person/ president/religion/etc. that has brought our nation to the point where honest, law-abiding Americans have to worry about protecting their very lives all because a relatively small group of thugs don't like a trial's verdict.

As long as that thug culture remains in America, we are a weaker nation.

I want to say more, but can't. You freedom-loving tax-payers know what I mean.

 

I live across the street from the neighborhood basketball courts. It looks like the UN over there. Like every other day. Tulsa learned their lesson in 1921.

Well, the race baiters, Sharpton and Jackson, are calling "for protests and demonstrations against the court decision." Right now they don't seem to be getting a whole lot of support. I wonder if we've grown up as a nation? Right after yesterday's decision announcement, Jackson was calling for riots according to one news source. I really wish that he'd get some new dentures. The ones that he's got have never looked right. They look too fake for his face.

Sleeping like a baby tonight, nothing going to happen in most places, this is a no show, its not even one I think many blacks care about. If it had been police brutality maybe or if Zimmerman had put a whole magazine into Martin but one shot please this whole thing has been a fiasco for the government and those spineless politicians in florida. :headshake:

 

It may still kick off, but the fact that Zimmerman wasn't a police officer or an official might have mattered to would be protesters. Combine that with the effect of the Obama being the President, there may have been a bit of restraint in some communities. I also think that many in the low income African-American community are aware that a lot of European-Americans are also very mad and well armed.

However, if we had the sort of incident that could spark something, it could still happen.

 

I saw the local Catholic priest handcuffed and put into a police cruiser this morning, but I'm pretty sure it's unrelated to the riots and DOMA.

 

So that's why the Feds are handing out all these food stamps! They are letting all the parasites eat themselves morbidly obese. You can't cause trouble if you can't even walk to the mailbox.
