Will it be in Iran? North Korea? Russia? Here?

I don't know for sure but when Libya kicked off my battalion was put on 24 hour stand by waiting to get boots on the ground. Made me really wonder where and when the next global conflict will emerge. I definitely think it will be sooner rather than later.

Also, if SHTF here, I believe that the government may start stockpiling our food and supplies. Possibly go into a martial law state...

I'd put my money on Iran..The Israelis will strike soon and Obama will wait to see what to do after getting his answers from his telepromter..seriously I ran into a veteran who is in the rangers and he can't wait to go, this after having served four tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan..The timeline for this is within the next 6-12 months

wayyyyyyyyyy sooner than that .... Israel was just waiting out the US elections .... they would get more assistance from Romney than Obammy .... but dumbass getting re-elected won't stop them .... they might know more about what NATO intends to do about Syria than we'll ever find out about .... everybody buzy with slicing & dicing Syria would make a great distraction ..... my best guess ..... 2nd week of December

I was in Somalia about 8 years ago, and a think tank from DC sent a team in to look at water. From Egypt to the Horn, fresh drinking water is drying up, and they were predicting that the next major war (at least in Africa) would be over water rights.

We get so caught up in our ethnocentric news filter we forget that outside the first world, the 2nd and 3rd world are just trying to live, and they're more than willing to go to war to do so.

It's looking more and more like it will be here in the US. I'll just leave this here...:

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/secission-petitions-filed-20-states-190210006.html

Numbers aren't up to speed however in the articles. Texas has enough signatures to where the white house, (by their own rules) has to give an official response. Louisiana is right behind them.

Petitions are viewable here: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petitions
This is in fact happening.

if at first you don't secede...

seriously, I understand Texas has a clause in it's constitution (it voluntarily joined the US in the 1840s--it had been an independet 'Lone Star' Republic) that allows it to...unjoin. what if their state house votes it and D.C. refuses to acknowledge? will we send troops to Austin?

Texas is ruled by big business, it's not leaving the union - big business won't allow it. The best is Mississippi wanting to secede. Do those people in Mississippi realize they get significantly more money from the federal government than they give it. It's all for the show - no one will leave the union.

...some have heard Israel will hit Iran an none, absolutely no one will come to her aid. Oil price pressure from the middle east will see to this. Oil will still shoot up. What is precious about a land full of bombs. Only its people. The timeline is between today and before April 2013. Spain is also set to go into a major civil war. Were the dollar to crash soon who knows what will happen. roll on 'the new peoples party'.
