I realize that there's probably many topics for this already, but I tried 3 different search entries and couldn't find one. So if there are topics, if you could link me to them that'd be cool too.

Lots of thank yous,

Wetpaint. :)

Just bought this pack and I have to say I am really impressed with the workmanship. http://www.lapolicegear.com/diplomat-3-day-backpack1.html Every stitch is nice and clean, I have pulled on every possible piece that I can and it has held up. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it also has a camelback carrier built in. For $29.99 it is a hell of a value.

I've got one and it's not my favorite, but it is a good value for the money. It was larger than I expected. Not a bad thing, but it wasn't real comfortable loaded down. Halfway through my first trip I had to take a slice off my ground pad and beef up the cushion in the shoulder straps. That made a big difference. I drug it through the hills all summer. Lived out of it for periods of time and it held up no problem. Stitching of the major seams on mine is very good. Whole thing is wrapped in molle which adds to strength. Zippers aren't great (I always prefer metal). Went back to a more comfortable 24hr pack, but keep this as a spare/cold season pack. Not something I want to carry all the time, but not bad for an emergency pack.
