So I found a few examples from past auctions on ebay and some info at BF, it looks like it is probably a Tramontina, which is good news to me, I never knew for sure who made it. I can say that it is one hell of a nice blade and sharpens up great. One guy picked his up for $1 at a thrift store or something. If you ever see one BUY IT. The original plastic handles suck, so you will want to put on something else. I made a trade for a box full of deer antler and a gentleman put one of them on mine for a re-handle. I was given this knife by an older family friend when I was about 12. I hated the sheath that it came in and found this one at a guy that had a leather making booth in his clearance bin, it "almost" fits but good enough for me to protect the blade and I really like the sheath with the antler, just wish it fit better.

Links to the old auctions, shows what the orginal sheath and handles looked like, my sheath was a darker color but exactly the same.
