Good luck on your move. Keep us posted on your progress. Wireless internet is available in many places so even on the road your internet access is only as far as the nearest truck stop. The last time I tried to escape the fascist state I'm living in, I had internet access every time I pulled off the highway. Some highway rest stops even have internet.

I hope to be right behind you! Just need to convince my Bride.
Here's a video for your bride that might help convince her. :thumb:

Came to the People's Republic 6 1/2 years ago from Western Md. With my family. We weren't here 6 months before we realized it was a mistake, in less than 4 months my last child will graduate from High School and then we are out of here! Love the weather, mountains, and open spaces. Cant stand the cost, politics , and over reaching laws. Idaho, Mt., Wy. Or Wv is looking like our current choices hmmmm
I found this video and the book to have a lot of very useful information. Highly recommend.

Good luck on your adventure, I'll soon be out of Kalif. too soon next year after about 60 years here, heading for Ore. I envy you!
If you value weapons you might want to see what's currently happening in Or. Really sad since I love OR and WA.

SECTION 6. This 2013 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2013 Act takes effect on its passage.
A state of emergency is a governmental declaration which usually suspends a few normal functions of the executive, legislative and judicial powers, alert citizens to change their normal behaviors, or order government agencies to implement emergency preparedness plans. It can also be used as a rationale for suspending rights and freedoms, even if guaranteed under the constitution. Such declarations usually come during a time of natural or man made disaster, during periods of civil unrest, or following a declaration of war or situation of international or internal armed conflict. Justitium is its equivalent in Roman law.

Thank you all for your replies and wishes. I made it here safe and sound no blown tires, no issues at all. Today I finally got internet, $80 a month for something 1/4 the speed I was paying $25 for back there but its worth it to be here.

Today our elevated metal snow roof was finished and I finished my fence around my house. A lot in one day and so much more to do. I fall asleep at 7-8pm lately due to exhaustion.

Night #2 a pack of 8 wolves were 100 foot off my front porch I had to get my dogs back inside asap and scare them off. Yesterday a neighbors dog was taken in daylight by a mountain lion. The fence was a must!

I'll update more later.
