I don't mind saying that I got a little choked up when I saw this video. The man truly cares about us. He was on ground zero right after 9/11. The left constantly bashes him because they simply can not compete with his level of compassion for this country and for people in general. He has done more and cared more for We The People than any other President in history, in my opinion.

May God bless and protect this man and guide him to continue to improve the greatest nation on earth.

Rather than finding one little tid bit of an inaccurate "opinion" (Because I should have probably said,"except George Washington"). How about you be proud of the fact that we have a President in the White House that truly cares about the people he represents?

Thanks for ****ing in the thread. You're probably proud of your 1st Amendment right to do so. But, honestly, I just think that makes you look like a ****.:D:

I just read this yesterday.

https://www.chron.com/news/us/article/Man-s-dying-wish-fulfilled-with-call-from-13668368.php

Jay Barrett, of West Haven, who has cystic fibrosis, left the hospital to begin palliative care at his sister's home last weekend and asked for some sort of contact with the president before he dies.

His sister, West Haven City Councilwoman Bridgette Hoskie, who describes herself as "100 percent Democrat," went on social media to help make it happen. Friends and other supporters sent emails to the White House.

The efforts paid off Tuesday night when Barrett, 44, received a call from Trump.

"Mr. President, through thick and thin, you know there's been a lot of thicks, and there's been a lot of thins, I support you," Barrett said.

It’s amazing he has been able to do the things he has done considering he has been fighting the leftist media machine since he announced he was running for president.
They’re attacking him because he’s a nationalist and he cares about Americans. That’s clear because all of their policies are either anti-American or anti-human, and all the traps the set up for us were destroyed as soon as he took office: Paris climate accord, trans pacific partnership, nafta, Iran deal. They worked towards those schemes for years, he got elected and slapped all their pieces off the chess board.

Thank you Mr. President, we’re seeing what you’re doing

And, he's got as many on the Republican side as well who are either against him or working to undermine him. I offer up now dirt temperature John McCain as the poster example followed by Paul Ryan.

Too many people in the swamp and the Deep State who don't like the exposure. Nadler and Schiff are now expanding their *tight oversight*; in other words, they are simply harassing the President to do everything they can to make him unelectable in 2020.

Why didn't the Trump administration follow through and do more to assist Puerto Rico where nearly 3000 people died in the 207 hurricane? Their governor is still waiting to talk to our president about promised aid.

#20 ·
There was plenty of aid sent to Puerto Rico. Hundreds of tons of it left rotting in the sun. Pallets and pallets of drinking water sitting under tarps at the port.

The problem there was their failed infrastructure and corruption. Union truck drivers refusing to deliver aid goods, etc.

The corrupt San Juan governor was just a tool of the left used to try to discredit Trump. People like you believed her.

Always has to be somebody trying to rain on a parade. This is getting down right pathetic that people cannot even give the man a little credit.

PR is thier own worst enemy, always has been, probably always will be. They do not deserve to be a state, it would be a huge mistake for our country. As for Trump as POTUS, he wasn't Hillary, that worthless h*so he got my vote as a default cause he could hardly be worse than her. That being said, I have been impressed, especially in how he call bad actors out publically. That's just good entertainment to watch. I also like how he pitched the globalist traps for the country. For the record, W and BHO were horrible, totally incompetent losers, and still are. I wouldn't golden shower either if they were on fire. Eeck. Trump has done a lot better than I had hoped, against tougher odds too. I 2020 I will give him another shot, this time on his own merits. As for you guys, I don't need or want your approval or disapproval, and none of you need mine. As for trolls and bots, same-same. I don't live that kind of life, have big fun if you do. Trump might end up being a great, like Lincohn. Thier stories as POTUS have many parallels.

There's nothing wrong with issuing the man a fair assessment. I disagree, slightly, with you on him not giving anything up. I think his brand has taken a big hit. And it is still 4-8 years of his life that he didn't have to give up to try to save America. Well, a solid B+ isn't bad. Not at all. It's not an A, but I don't think anyone could complain about a half a grade.:D: :thumb:

Puerto Rico is no different than the rest of the spanish speaking third-world **** holes. Unfortunately for us it's a US territory and needs to go.

As for Trump; against all odds he has exceeded my expectations.

As for the usual trolls, put them on ignore and stop quoting them.

I wonder how Congress is going to like this one:

President Trump's 2020 Budget Calls for $2.7T in Spending Cuts, Promises to Erase Deficit in 15 Years

“President Trump will unveil his fiscal 2020 budget request to Congress on Monday which calls for $2.7 trillion in spending cuts and balances [the budget] in 15 years,” Melissa Quinn reports for the Washington Examiner.

The President’s spending plan prioritizes core responsibilities for the Federal Government, “including strengthening border security to address the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border, and tackling the opioid crisis.” The plan will also keep taxes low while cutting wasteful spending to refocus money on providing quality services for the American people.

PR got a lot of aid. The problem once it got there is their problem They screwed it up on their own. Truckers that wouldn't transport it, the governors that wanted more support and failed to move stuff.

Just another failed liberal society that can't care for it's own. And no desire to do so. They want us to do everything.

It's funny. An open forum, you know, and yet people get sad if someone doesn't follow the party line. And folks call others sheep?

If I made a thread praising Obama I'd expect more than a few of you to run in and start with the usual "witty" comments and name calling on the man -- yet when someone even mildly disagrees about the glory that is Donald J Trump folks lose their minds.

Here's your honesty: Stop sobbing about what I say, focus on what you say, and get over yourself/yourselves. Or, alternately, grow up and stop attacking everyone with a different opinion.

One other thing BHU, chew on this a while until you can find some other thing to condemn a man who is working his ass off for a person like you:

The White House • March 11, 2019
The worst number in Washington

$15 trillion. If you needed a single number to represent Washington’s decades of dysfunction before President Donald J. Trump was elected, that’s a good place to start.

In the 20 years from 1997 to 2017—President Trump’s first in office—America’s national debt nearly quadrupled from just over $5 trillion to more than $20 trillion. Those skyrocketing deficits accompanied a Federal Government that was increasingly unaccountable to its citizens, putting favored interests ahead of U.S. taxpayers.

In 2008, then-Sen. Barack Obama called the $4 trillion in debt accumulated under President George W. Bush “unpatriotic.” Once in the White House, President Obama himself then swelled the national debt by nearly $9 trillion. After losing the presidency in 2016, Democrats once again ramped up their tough talk on the deficit, this time as a means of attacking President Trump and Congressional Republicans.

Well, good news—the 2020 budget proposed by President Trump today gives both parties a chance to show Americans where they stand on Washington’s “unpatriotic” spending addiction. With economic growth soaring above 3 percent and unemployment at its lowest in 50 years, now is the moment to lift the debt burden off of our children’s backs.

President Trump’s budget was written with the working American citizen in mind:

Taxpayers first. Recent history is clear about the source of our debt problem. The issue isn’t that Americans are taxed too little—it’s that Washington spends far too much. President Trump’s 2020 proposal reduces spending by $2.7 trillion and balances the Federal budget in 15 years.

Promises kept. This budget prioritizes the Government’s core responsibilities to its citizens. It allocates $32.5 billion for border security and immigration enforcement, more than $80 billion to fully support medical care for veterans, and $750 billion to continue rebuilding American national defense.

Government waste slashed. Few Americans know that every year, the Federal Government spends $68 million on international labor activities, such as promoting unions in South America. Or that Washington spends $35,000 per student—more than tuition at many top universities—to send tens of thousands of young people to “Jobs Corps” centers with an abysmal safety and security record. This type of underreported, unchecked waste and abuse must end.

Republicans and Democrats both call out the national debt when the other party is in power—no surprise there. The difference today is that only one party, led by President Trump, is actually trying to cut spending once in office.

Pay close attention to whether Democrats suddenly go silent about our national debt.

ok, there seems to be something wrong with your reading comprehension tonight, let me break this down for you. Starting in 2020 he is going to start cutting the budget by 2.7 Trillion Dollars and if all other presidents follow this until 2035 it will erase the deficit. I do not know how to make it any simpler for you. If you still don't understand then I am sure there are others on here that can explain it better than me. BTW, That is our President and he is doing one hell of a job.

I give Trump a lot more credit than prior administrations, especially for the working class.

Wasn't the National Debt when Barry left office around $29 Trillion??? If so how did it drop to $22 Trillion in just 2 years? Maybe bad math by the Media outlets or did the banks finally pay back their bailouts (my guess is that they didn't)?

To fight any Opioid crisis...simply drain the swamp at the FDA... They are the ones that created this Opioid crisis by caving to Pharm. Corp. Allowing fast-tracking of new psychotic drugs that have been proven over-and-over with dangerous suicidal and violent tendencies.

It would be nice if Congress actually did their jobs...i.e. Balance the Budget...

On the day Obama left office, the U.S. government’s debt owed to the public was more than $14.4 trillion
https://www.factcheck.org/2017/09/obamas-final-numbers/

Based on the website USdebtclock.com, which extrapolates the US national debt in real time based on committed government spending, the debt will be roughly $19.97 trillion when President-elect Donald Trump takes office on Friday.

There you go, 2 answers from the most unbiased sources I could find. 5 trillion apart, but no where near the 29 Trillion you claim....
