Is it non political, a word of disrespect however used, should it be banished?

we were shopping today for new kitchen countertops and my wife was liking a dark almost all black color, she said “what about this” and I blurted out “it’s too black” and there just happened to be a person of color about 15 20 feet away that swung around with a mean mug like I called him black, we actually made eye contact and I just ignored it and continued the shopping conversation like nothing

heck they banned Redskins why not Black

Spanish speakers are always getting in trouble with the blacks because the Spanish word for "black"is '*****". It means black only no other connotations but some blacks don't take that well.

I wore a lot of black even before I became a widow and I have 3, partially white, cats. :ROFLMAO:

Die schwartz. Pick another language not commonly understood where you live.

Other versions of the word have been banished so why not this one? The spanish version is now banned. People of color is a re-ordering of "colored people" but the latter is offensive and the former is not. You will never be politically correct because the goal posts are constantly moving.

It doesn't matter what you say, how you say it, or what your intentions are. All that matters is whether someone else feels badly about what you said.

I did some computer based training at work yesterday. It's a new module titled "Respect in the Workplace". It's literally teaching that it doesn't matter what you say, what the context is, or what your intent is. If someone is offended by what you said, for any reason, you're at fault and "subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination".

Cooper, CBL's at Walmart? Sounds like something they would make me watch.

Of course I get a pass with all my coworkers and bosses as I am a "****** lover" who not only married but cared for a disabled black man for 30 years. Some of them didn't believe me until I showed them a picture of him I keep on my cell phone.

If, big if, I remarry I don't care about race. A Latino guy at work flirts with me but he is not a born again Christian so that's a no go. But if I meet a nice saved guy of any race who likes cats who knows?

Yeah we have some diversity disability thing that dropped. I have mental illness and brain damage, I was married to a profoundly disabled man. I already know that but will have to complete the training.
