I am reluctant to take warning advice from those that didn't see a problem forming, and back then didn't have a solution. Even worse is when they have the audacity to either tell us what to expect or how to get out of it.

The IMF can and will go to hell. Screw the one world currency, and the New World Order.

They almost always are. But it happens on both sides.

Bush had two terms but was only elected once.
Obama had dead people voting for him, and Illegal immigrants. Which ****es me off even more then Florida's inability to read a ballot box instruction.

Simply put, it's politics. Expect corruption.

why?

if im going to shoot at people its going to be fatal

besides real bullets are cheaper and with rubber bullets are limited in range to about 20-30 yards effectivly

with a lead bullet i can hit a man sized target 500m away reliably with am4 carbine and 800m with a 308

and when thugs have pistols 20-30m is a little close for comfort as your starting to get into there ability to get hits

stupid sheep....go riot all you want..burn your cities up, mess with your municipal govts ability to respond in any way with social services, utilities, fire, ems, etc.

the super rich that you want to tax...will always have shelters under tax law..political points only ...won't really impact the rich...

want to threaten them?..fine..they'll just hop their private jet and go enjoy an extended stay at their home in the caribean or on their yacht where you can't touch them.
fact is..the super rich as so freakin rich that they don't have to work or produce wealth..ever again...they can just turn the whole machine off...send thousands of employees home, including washington lobbyists who grease the political machine.
so when you see the uber rich actually turn off the lights and leave, then you know that true and real tax increases have been created..other than that...the rich will continue to grow wealth, pass that tax onto the workers and consumers and play along with the game the politicians need to play.

will the hood riot?.yep..over most anything...that's why the semi-wealthy like me moved away from the city..let it burn next week.. I'll be on my boat..literally 7 miles off shore in beautiful blue waters....with a gun.

I like the idea of a federal sales tax. Like you say, do away with the IRS. A sales tax would tax everybody (even tourist). It wouldn't matter then if you made your money from drugs or from a honest days work. Everybody would get taxed. Also, if the economy went down, the government would get less taxes. If the economy is doing good, the government would get more taxes because it would have to do with all well sales are.

The biggest threat of riots in 2012 comes from Obama supporters and possibly the machinery of government (think fast and furious).

They WILL be rioting that day. The only question is, does the Emperor send his union, ACORN and government goons out DURING voting to suppress anti-Obama voters, or in reaction to his defeat? That is what I meant by Obama having to have riots to have a shot at re election.

We not only have to win, we will have to overcome the margin of vote fraud AND a certain demographic being intimidated from entering the polls.

Hint: think of what happened to people leaving the Wisconsin state fair except the same people showing up to vote.

Regardless, Obama supporters WILL riot if he loses. Election day may be a SHTF day. The looter class won't go down peacefully.

Let's see blame the rich for being successful on the word of someone quoting Huffington? Sorry I don’t think so, maybe I’m spending too much time trying to become more successful instead of wanting to riot about what I don’t have yet.

Riot to stop supporting those continually on welfare would be closer.

I am by no means rich, not even well off so when I say this it's simply my principals. Taxing the rich so other people can stay at home on their lazy butts and simply breed is communism/socialism. Many, Many people are on unemployment because they are making more than what they will find in this economy. So they will take the free ride as long as they can instead of living within their means, Entitlements is the problem not the solution. As far as seniors. Well they paid for the little they get and frankly it is sinful how little they do get. They are not getting entitlements they are getting slowly paid back on a bad deal. Socialism or communism which ever you would like to call it.. because there is very little difference, didn't work for the Russians and most of China doesn't even have heat in the winter and most of their populations work in slave labor factories building our junk. So regardless what people actually think, it's not so great for the people of China either. Oh yeah and half their population is starving.

There was a time in this country when suggesting socialism was almost considered treason. Now it's called a democrat.

I hate to break their socialist bubbles, but you can not effectively tax the income of the truly rich.

You can try, but you will only end up taxing the middle class and reducing growth and investment.

You can not effectively tax their wealth either.

Basically, class warfare is futile and ineffective. It only works to drum up votes from a small group of small minded fools.

You already have people rioting. But the intelligence of these is obvious from the look on their faces. More riots are coming one way or another, Chicago Bulls fans riot if they win or lose.

Chicago blacks will riot whether Obama wins or loses... but mostly if he loses. The fools will go out and burn their own neighborhood for no reason and rob stores who won't come back for their business. Then of course they will have someone they have to blame other than the looters. Look for blame attacks on Republicans, Tea Party, corporate America, police, conservatives, and just good ol white people. Yet they will do most of the damage right where they live, and then demand government bail them out.

Divide et Impera, or “divide and conquer,” didn’t start out as a military strategy. It started out as a political strategy.

In fact, if you skip all the Greek, Roman, and bastardized Christian forms of democracy you’ll find out that James Madison once told Thomas Jefferson, “Divide et impera, the reprobated axiom of tyranny, is under certain qualifications, the only policy, by which a republic can be administered on just principles."

They teach that axiom in political science classes across the country to this day, including these specific points of strategy:

- creating or encouraging divisions among the subjects in order to prevent alliances that could challenge the sovereign
- aiding and promoting those who are willing to cooperate with the sovereign
- fostering distrust and enmity between local rulers
- encouraging meaningless expenditures that reduce the capability for political and military spending

How many of you can see this in American government? It’s been clear as day since the first time I learned about it 12 years ago. However, it’s become REALLY apparent to me over the past 6 years.

I don’t want to go off on some “Matrix” like rant, but seriously… all this finger pointing and name calling some of you are doing on here is EXACTLY what’s wrong with this country- and you’re being PLAYED LIKE A FIDDLE by the politicians who truly understand the axiom of divide et imperia.

First and foremost; Democrats and Republicans. This is the division among subjects. This division revolves around social, moral, and political beliefs. These are the ONLY two options you have, and as a result, unity will be nearly impossible. This division, as demonstrated by the recent debt ceiling debate, is getting bigger.

Then, we have the government aiding and promoting big business because THAT’S where they get their campaign contributions from. Bail out GM, don’t raise the taxes on corporations or close the loop holes. These are two contested issues between the above mentioned parties- BUT, they essentially do the SAME thing which is to take care of those who are willing to support the sovereign

Next is fostering distrust and enmity between local rulers. Think about the House of Representatives, or the religious differences between Baptists and Lutherans. ****, you can see these divisions at your local PTA meeting all rolled into one- and ALL of those divisions are supported by the two party system of this REPUBLIC.

The last point is encouraging meaningless expenditures- and considering that America is $70 trillion in debt, and all the recent fervor over the deficit spending led to a downgrade and 1500 point slide in the stock market over a paltry $4 trillion dollars, the body politic is goose stepping right in line. And to ENSURE their dominance, they’re doing their best make the wealth gap WIDER.

People, this is the way things run in a republic- always have been. And when you trace the declines of the Greek and Roman Empires, it wasn’t due to war. It was due to the mismanagement and corruption of government that weekend their economy to the point that the people simply stopped supporting them because they were either too rich or too poor to care anymore.

People, open your eyes and realize that hating your fellow American because he or she believes in a health care bill, or because he or she supports anti-******** laws, is NOT SOLVING THE PROBLEM. We can argue and point fingers all day long- and that’s what the current government WANTS us to do because it allows them to do what THEY want to do.

I don’t have an answer on how to unite the American people, but I KNOW it can be done. If a million Frenchman can FORCE their government to rewrite laws and change corruption, and if a hundred thousand Jews in Israel can FORCE the reduction of the cost of living in their American inspired government, what can just a FEW MILLION Americans do?

That brings me to my last point: the consumers. Americans are consumers… and to consume we need jobs. Without unions, pensions, or medical care backed by the government, Americans will need to rely on their employers more and more- meaning that if they take a stand and protest, they’ll lose their jobs- which will ruin their credit, which in turn will destroy their ability to consume. Which means, like now, we’ll sit on our couches and bitch and moan without doing a damn thing. You're all worried about socialism? GIVE ME A BREAK. Be worried about totalitarianism and the people who are using Muslims, Mexicans, and the economy as their basis of fear.

We ultimately have nothing but ourselves to blame. Let it burn.

Well thought out and spoken. :thumb:

You are correct on all points, Americans are either too comfortable or too damn tired or lazy to care about standing up and changing anything. Until we get our asses up off the couch and DO something, we are lost. And the unfortunate reality is that our politicians refuse to listen to us even in the hundreds of thousands as demonstrated with the 9/12 project and the Tea Party rallies. I fear the only remaining option will be an armed march on Washington DC by a million or more citizens in order to make any difference.

Maybe then they will finally get the point.

Of course that will probably start the second Civil War.

I dont have the answers either Asteda, but I sure wish I did.
