+1 on the Izula, although I wish I'd known about the Izula 2 when I bought it. I carry mine concealed on my weak side for a reverse grip draw. The grip is kind of small for a rapid, high-stress draw so I added the stiffest Solomon's weave lanyard I could tie. It's just long enough to hold onto with a less-than-perfect grip, but short enough to not short enough to allow a floppy, ineffective grip either.

As others have said...ESEE IZULA....one of the best little knives I've ever used as an EDC...lost the first one...bought another one...carried it for years...got stolen...bought an OKC RAT 2 in d2 steel...folder but it's pretty nice...need to buy another IZULA still...can't go wrong

I daily a fixed blade every day. sometimes a bit bigger, but my favorite by far is the little long discontinued Kershaw Echo. I wear it at my centerline with my belt buckle offset to the left. (I'm right handed)

I'm a fan of horizontal carry.

With the knife sitting sideways along your beltline, you can carry a substantial blade under an untucked t-shirt, and go completely unnoticed. I've gone as large as a ZT 0100, my second favorite daily carry fixed blade, and a Microtech SOCOM Alpha s/e.
