I regularly use the search bar as your view, not available since this mornings restart.
It is available in the 3dot site navigation selection

 

Suggestions above don't work for me.

Only way it opens for me is to click the three dots next to my account details tile in the upper right corner. Then there is an "Advanced Search" option.

It works as intended on my laptop win7 chrome, so I am going to look into extensions and such on the desk top with the issue. If I find out what it was and gets corrected I will update info here.

My .gov computer does this because of the menlo security crap.

It does work with other browsers.

So its a chrome settings issue.
Have run deep virus scans - no issue
Disabled all extensions- no change
Disabled all security - no change

Its a local browser issue where something changed in last 12ish hours as was working then.
will be digging into prompts and such. So unless it affects multiple users not too much of a site issue

 

I have modified as deep as I dare with no change to the search bar functionality in chrome, it seems to be something in the header frame the browser doesn't like, as it functions outside of the site header.

So I have officially switched to Brave as my default and will see where that goes.

Had a problem with the search bar not working the other day also.
Still not working. I can type in the bar, then click the mag glass......nothing happens.

It doesn't/hasn't worked for me either,asked a mod an was told it doesn't work..

 

Actually I said the search function wasn't the "best" and showed you a "hack " from member @IamZeke to make better searches.

 

It has always worked for me, but not earlier today.

 

It works fine for me on my laptop (win 10, chrome browser, all up to date behind firewall and VPN with all sorts of ad blockers and anti-virus stuff) and my iPad (gen 9 with latest iOS, safari browser, xfinity wifi)
