At least you know where they are, where they stand, what they're about and they wear uniforms that are recognizable.

Using the enemies foreign and domestic line...

There are those that are closer to you, you don't know where they are, how they stand and camouflaged so to say but you do know what they are about.

Those are the ones that concern me the most......not the Russians

They have been patrolling up and down the East Coast since the 1960s.

I have been stationed on boats out of Groton. They want to hear is, up close, to get a clean sound profile as we pass by them. Whenever one of their boats is in the vicinity we tend to run on diesel, so we are making a different noise.

Yea i dont get why everyone is making a big stink out of this.
We spy on them, they spy on us. We spy on other countries and they spy on us too.
IDK why people dont understand this happens on a regular basis.
I had a FB friend that said he had never heard of this in his 30 something years, and I provided him some links that were very easily found to show all the different Navies that have set ships off our coast in International waters throughout the years. (China, Iran, Russia for ex) Then he couldnt handle it and started talking about Obama, Jade Helm, Gun Grab ect. lol

The stink is being made by the Lame Steam Media. Everything Russia is bad, haven't you noticed the msm's attempts to connect the President to Russia.
This is all distraction, it's all Alinsky. “If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its [positive] counterside.”

I'm shocked someone in the press didn't try to suggest that they were here for a secret meeting with Trump.

Russians off the coast.... Oh my !!!!!!!!

I saw a movie a few years back, think it was called SHOOTER with Mark Wahlberg. Story is he's an expert sniper on a mission that goes bad, his partner gets killed and he returns home to the states and lives in the mountains of Montana for a few years before those men in black, Danny Glover, come to visit him at his remote mountain hideaway. Story goes that Glover asks him to devise a plan to kill the sitting US POTUS but not really execute the plan. INSTEAD use that plan to capture those truly seeking to kill our POTUS.
BUT the true bad guys are Glover and factions of the US government with Ned Beaty as a corrupt sitting US Senator with more power and balls than brains.
Well long story short is there's a scene on a snowy mountain top where a helicopter lands carrying Glover and Beaty along with their thugs. And at this spot Wahlberg meets them and they have a long drawn out discussion about global politics, good versus evil and who really are the good guys and the bad guys.
The line that stood with me from this film is when Ned Beaty looks at Wahlberg, and filled with disgust says, (yes I'm paraphrasing) "there are no good guys, there are no bag guys, No democrats and no Republicans, all there is are the haves and the have nots and the battle is between them!!! Always has been and always will be!!!

Okay so where am I going with this... Well the way I see it is that today the US; China; Russia; Japan and so many other nations are financially intertwined that the leaders of these nations do not want to see the endless stream of cash going back and forth, stop. So sure sabres will be rattled and ships will sail off our coast as our ships have sailed off their coasts and they threaten us with this, as we threaten them with that... I'm not too worried about the big dogs getting into it. To do so would stop them from lining their wallets with money.

BUT this doesn't mean I am not worried. But it's the small rogue terrorists that denounce the wealth, that despise the money, that see these trappings of capitalism as the enemy of their faith. The fundamentalists, religious zealots are the ones that frighten me because they're willing to see their children die in a fight for their beliefs. We've seen it before, seen it repeated, fear of seeing it in this evening's news and remain aware that it will most likely happen again.

What we must do is remember what General Patton said which is that heroes shouldn't die for their country, they should get the enemy to die for his!!! OR something to that effect.
Let's hope and pray that we've seen the worst of terror in America and that we will never experience acts as were carried out on 9-11-2001.

As for the Russian ships off the US coast, I'm not worried and don't think anyone should be.

They are laying off our coast and listening to our decadent American Rock and Roll.

"We will leave our fleet behind, we will pass through the American patrols, past their sonar nets, and lay off their largest city, and listen to their rock and roll... while we conduct missile drills. Then, and when we are finished, the only sound they will hear is our laughter, while we sail to Havana, where the sun is warm, and so is the comradeship. A great day, comrades. We sail into history."
