He is now a lead guitarist for a Christian Rock Band and is one of the church leaders for the youth group… This guitar is a Jackson "Randy Rhoads" model black with white polka dots... Randy is one of his favorite players...

He is 22 and in college for classical music & music professor. He graduates this year in Dec, and then will go on to grad school for his Phd in music theory… Then he will be a music professor at a college…:thumb:

He is very clean cut, don't drink or smoke and does not cuss (Like his mother & I) We always get comments on how nice and polite he is and he has worked since he was 15... Bought his first new car when he was 18..! Even the dealership could not believe he had the credit to do that at that age...!

Here is a photo I took of him last Sunday night at the church…

Here is a little bit of info to show how well he places family…:thumb:

He was getting ready to go to Quaker Steak & Lube for some wings with three or four of his friends the other night. His mother & I did not know anything about his plans at that time. He came in the living room where his mom & I were sitting just talking about a few things, the TV was even off.

He asked what we were going to do and I said nothing really just thought we would sit and talk a while and have you join us. Then we could order a pizza or Chinese or Mexican for dinner and just sit and enjoy the evening together. (Our daughter was at the in-laws for two days helping babysit) He just stood there for a sec and started to smile…

The doorbell rang and it was one of his friends with another one in the car waiting. He tells his friends, “Sorry guys but I think I going to stay home with mom & dad tonight instead and just relax with them.” His friend ask him a few times if he is sure but Cole (our son) says yes this is what I want to do tonight…

We told him he did not have to do that since we did not know he already had plans… He did not care…

I have to say many of friends children I would bet would not do that and turn down a night with close friends to stay with “Mom & Dad”…

Thank you for the comments... I am proud of both of our children...We just raised them the best we could and they were always involved in church growing up...

All we could was hope we did it right... Sometimes it was hard (with me being in the Army and spent most of the time in the southern hemisphere of the world) But we did what we could as a family every time we could and still continue to do so…

Our daughter is going to be 15 and some think she is 20 already… I told her “I WILL” interview any potential boyfriends/dates… She thinks I’m kidding…!

She looks like “mom” and Cole looks like me… She is musical also, plays guitar, piano, violin, sax, clarinet, flute and now wants to learn drums…

Only advice I can give, do your best ALWAYS with your children and lead by example…

Thank you again everyone…
