I recently found a never-fired Mosin-Nagant at a gun show (bought it from a guy before the show even opened) for $230. It looks brand new, with a brightly colored wooden stock and absolutely no scratches or dents in the stock. i could tell it was never disassembled either, as there were no scuffs anywhere on it including the stock retainer spring-tabs.

I checked out the stamps on the net, it was made in poland in 1955 and all serial numbers match.

what is it worth if i try and resell it? there seems to be around 2-3 at every show, but they are beaten to hell and go for $300 or more.

History,

Is what you bought. They are a very reliable and accurate weapon, which you could defend yourself and your family with. The ammo. is still very inexpensive as far as ammo. go's and in good supply. If you bought it for an investment go to J&G Sales.com for a price of what is out there. You paid for an awful lot for what you got. Hope you enjoy a fine firearm for a long time.

Keep your senses sharp and your weapon clean, loaded and ready. God bless!
