I think syria is just a backdoor into iran, since we dont have a viable excuse to attack them directly. With Iran actively stepping away from the petro dollar, the US needs an excuse to crush that idea(just like bush did to iraq). Iran is one of syrias biggest allies, so if we attack syria it will undoubtedly draw in iran. I think the petro dollar status is the only thing propping up the dollar at this point.
Nailed it. Its no secret the U.S. has screwed around with Iran in the past. None of this is any surprise to me. The nuke scare thats been running the propaganda machine against Iran isn't working so well. So, another way to get the foot in the door has to be found. If people don't see whats going on by now and what the plan really is are blind.
Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Syria. Its getting close where there isn't a ME country that doesn't have U.S. troops parked in their backyard. We start by supporting, funding, and equiping muslim radicals to fight the soviets. Then we turn around and fight the same people we previously supported. Then we are back supporting the same damn kind of muslim animals we just spent the last 20 some odd years killing and invading.
Fact is the U.S. govt will support any group no matter how utterly insane and twisted they may be as long as they play ball. When they get wise to the fact they are being exploited and used, all of a sudden the really evil people we sent billions of dollars, not to mention arms to have to be stopped of their brutality so freedom can prevail.
People don't think the U.S. has its greedy hand in the kettle thats boiling over there? WE ARE SUPPORTING MUSLIM RADICALS THAT GO AROUND CUTTING OFF HEADS AND BURNING DOWN CHURCHES. THE VERY SAME PEOPLE WE WENT TO WAR WITH IN TWO COUNTRIES. THE SAME PEOPLE WE HAVE BEEN TOLD TIME AND TIME AGAIN ARE EVIL AND MUST BE STOPPED. SUPPORTING THAT.
And guess what folks? Soon as these muslim douche bags realize they been had again, that the U.S. isn't really supporting them at all but only using them as a minor insignificant pawn on a chess board over a sea of oil, they will turn on us and we have 9-11 all over again in another 50 years. Maybe sooner, who knows?
Folks honestly think the rest of the world ( mostly China and Russia ) are really going to stand by and let this continue until the U.S. has total control over the entire ME? They can't afford too, and pushed much more they will be getting involved with whats going on over there.
We might get away with military action against Syria. Might. But the line is going to be drawn at any action taken against Iran. Guaranteed. Israel and the U.S. are provoking already with threats against them if they continue with their nuke program. Two countries that already have all the nukes they will ever need to defend themselves are basically telling another country that they have no right to defend themselves from invasion
Plain as day and people refuse to see it, refuse to admit what they already know. Why? Because the truth makes them mighty uncomfortable, and one thing you can count on lazy, greedy people for is the absolute insanity they will go along with to be comfortable and cozy in their little world of soap operas, football games, and sunday breakfast buffets at golden coral.
