You get 50 bucks back and 2 free magazines if you get a S&W Sigma before April 30th. Most places only want 349.99 so after the rebate you get the gun and 4 magazines for 299.99.
I would suggest saving up 200 more and getting a glock or beretta 92/90-two.
Do you have any pistols already?
I know im a few years late... but im a revolver fan and need a gun in the sp101 size, where were you finding them for that price, I know im late by a few years but thanks in advance.
What do you want to use this pistol for? As the poster noted above you have options depending on what you will use it for. Also depends on where you live. Like in the PNW you have big bears to deal with. South you have big hogs. If you are city and want small carry the minimum I would go for is a new Bersa Thunder .380 for about 300. Also look for used police trade in revolvers. They are usually not shot very much just carried a lot so cosmetic wear but good internals. Those run 225-250. Ammo is cheaper usually also (38spc or 357mag). If used for defense I would avoid the 22 rimfire. Your goal is to stop an attacker RIGHT NOW not in a couple of hours in the ER.
After getting my hands on the S&W SD9 VE I'm a fan of it. I don't own one but have now shot a couple of them. They make it in 40 as well. It's a vast improvement over the Sigma SW Series. There are several good reviews by sources I trust out there as well. The trigger is about a pound or so heavier than the Glock and others of that type but it's a couple hundred buck lower cost. Worth a look unless you're looking for a smaller carry gun. Good luck with your search!
