If they didn't immediately take them over the southern border, those vehicles will be found. They are very distinct.

Cartel likes to steal them, Ft Bliss loses a few vehicles a year to them.

 

Like targeted by every LE and liscense plate reader. A friend of mines dad who was a SA for the AL department of agriculture and industries, thinks most of their “good quality” heavy equipment thefts ended up going on a ship And leaving the country. I will note the hum vee will fit in a connex.

Several months ago there was a theft of M17s and other weapons out of Bragg; they call it "Liberty" now? Or "Moore". Anyway, was going to post the link . Didn't. Here it is:

The theft you posted was at Ft. Benning and is in Georgia not North Carolina

 

I wouldn't be surprised if someone has plans to show up at the burn zone and act like help, but steal crap. It's not too hard to suspect that terrorists are starting fires there now.

 

That, or go down to the nearest surplus store and pick up a bunch cheap.

 

You can find them in surplus or even thrift stores, some that still have name tapes or unit patches on them. That and a haircut and you won't look like you're at Day 1 of basic training.

Looks like Tustin is about 2 hours North of Tijuana. I’d venture to guess they crossed the border there.

 

If they are anything like the military vehicles I have been around, they will breakdown in a few days anyway.

I'm trying to remember how long ago it was when the BP stopped a white van that was full of "US Marines". The lead agent happened to be a prior service Marine.
