Yea, hopefully they get found soon. The feeling of being lost feels horrible.

 

They found the guy last night, girl is still missing.

Was it explained how they got separated?

 

I don't lie far from that area and it seems to me that one would have to be quite I'll prepared Amd lack some basic knowledge to get lost in that area. In the area if one would just hike up to the closest tall hill you over look all of metro Orane County, Ca with a total population of close to 500k people. Just about all the valleys and gullies lead down to a populated area. If your going to get lost in a wilderness area this is the one you'd want to get lost in. They were both in bad shape and glad they didn't meet Mr Mountain Lion and will be OK.

 

The guy had no clue how they got separated.
The girl was in and out of it to answer questions.
Might know more today or later.

What was bad, a deputy fell 60 feet while searching and busted his head.
Supposed to be okay.

 

Please keep us up to date. As a member of our local GSAR, I am interested in what happened initially, how they became separated, and how they were found.

They were separated the very first day?
He had a sprained ankle and couldn't keep up with her.
He was found by another hiker less than a mile from their car.

She was heard screaming by a searcher.

Both were air lifted by helicopter.

 

They obviously voted for Obama, because it is apparent they have no common sense. My sympathies go out to the family of the LEO injured in the SAR.
