Most people that are into anything country are Christian. I've gone to a few events and religion is part of it.

I'm not religious but Christians don't bother me. Not super fond of it, however, I dont disrespect it.

As of 2 am central time: 2 dead and at least 24 wounded. Count will probably go up. McCarran airport has shut down all flights in and out and witnesses are saying they thought there were 2 shooters but 1 shooter is down according to LV police.

I said a prayer for the responders and victims. That being said, if it turns out to be an AK-47 or some other full auto gun then I think the media will make a HUGE deal out of it this week. Probably see a lot of gun rights debate start up again which is sad for all the true law abiding citizens. From the way people are describing all the hundreds of popping/firecracker sounds it does sound like either multiple shooters or full auto weapons.

I watched 3 videos and tried to count the shots. A couple of barrages I counted at least 80+ shots all in a row. This happened multiple times over a few minutes so were they using a drum magazine or some type of belt fed weapon?

Not a saw but maybe a pkm video is not the same has hearing it in real time. most likely an ak or sks with at home diy modifications.

 

Found the clip on youtube. If it was just 1 shooter he stopped several times to reload.

I could be wrong but to me it sounds like 2 different weapons unless he ran for a different spot therefore it would sound different.

the changing fire rate could be from a bump-fire stock... they do that.. but it seems its a 600rpm fire rate at default so its going to be an AK

News is saying now at least 20 dead, 100+ injured, including many LEOs.

First responders, LEOs, and medical personnel and courageous citizens are true heroes.

Video I heard sounded like automatic 762 and another caliber, simultaneous at times. So either 1 shooter operating two rifles at the same time (seems unlikely), multiple shooters, or 1 shooter being engaged by LEOS with automatic gunfire (seems also unlikely, but perhaps?). Multiple shooters seems like the most likely scenario, but as of now the LEOs seem confident that the threat is ended with 1 dead shooter.

its also possible the shooter is a man named stephen paddock, a known associate of marylou danley and a registered sex offender
