Somebody is systematically probing the security at a wide variety of secure facilities around the US. This has been going on for a while and seems to be picking up in frequency. Can't be a good thing.

 

Looking for weakness, a suicide bomber seems to be the standard..

That or they are suicidal and/or it’s an initiation to some group.

 

My dad grew up just south of Lackland. Last time I was there...been a few decades ago...that area looked almost like a war zone. First time I had ever seen a school with chain link fences topped with barbed wire around it.

I would venture to guess gangs.

 

I really want to know who this was. With so many different nations people entering our country right now it could be anyone. With the many examples of Chinese entities buying land around our military bases that is where my mind goes first. Someone said probing earlier and the Chinese have been doing that for a while. There is some sort of big black swan event coming and an invasion from the inside is a real concern.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if it's some sort of gang nonsense. They say 1-2% of the armed forces peeps are affiliated with a gang of some sort.

I was in Washington D.C after 9/11 and I went out to the Pentagon and at their main gate they had a Humvee w/.50 cal on top and every soldier had M4's, maybe these bases need that setup going forward.

Is there a source for them trying to enter the base? Taking shots at base security sounds like a ghetto version of Russian roulette, trying to sneak, lie, or crash you way on base seems far more nefarious.

I still remember being on an army post in a SCIF when 2 armed individuals in disguises, in a stolen car, with a white powder, crashed their way onto Fort Meade ( They made it a few feet before they and the car succumbed to gunfire.). Ft Meade is headquarters to both NSA and the DOD wide IT and communications Agency (DISA), as well as a whole bunch off projects that need to be near DC. Like 2 hours latter, the powder turned out to be cocaine, the gun belonged to the car owner, who had shared a hotel room with the ”attackers” who were transsexual prostitutes. Somebody would be leaving the SCIF every 30 min to see if we had just had a second 9/11 attempt. Finally some LtCol asked us to step out and read the message on his cell phone. Stated they were “ Coke’d up tranny whores, with nonviolent police records, Car and Glock belonged their John that morning.

 

That is so crazy. I was not far from that area. I brought up all the available traffic cameras to see if there was a lot of activity at the intersections. It was very minimal. Then the tranny story came out as people say.

 

Being reported this happened twice, first at 0215, then again at 0430.

Definitely shows some persistence, intent there. Could still fit the MO of a gang thing, disgruntled employee, "activist", etc. but also right in line with probing, gauging response.

You need to understand that until the threat assessment is completed and the shooters identified, any facts on this incident will be close hold so as not to reveal any info to a potential enemy. Yeah, crack babies looking to score is good story to seed to the media.
