Rumor has it that RBG died recently, but is still a voting member of the Supreme Court! Of course, they are "mail-in" votes, so who knows who authored them? Certainly not her.

No, the correct story was "RBG attended the event, hid in the back and was not identified by anyone in the audience. Others claimed she was there yet no pictures were taken or evidence of her appearance other than hearsay was produced.".

That release came after D.C. speculation that RBG is far sicker than initially reported. Suspicious minds would appropriately question the veracity of the story considering the implications of an incapacitated RBG.

It's time the POTUS and Supreme Court confirmed, in person, the whereabouts and health of the Justice. Her handlers and party officials are starting to sound like Saddam Hussein's press secretary and can no longer be trusted.

To be more precise, the rumor was that she was "brain dead" (aka senile) but still voting in absentia on important Supreme Court issues that she is no longer mentally capable of understanding. If true, that means someone else who has not been properly nominated & confirmed is illegally voting for her. ;)

It just occurred to me that they may be doing everything they can to keep her alive, up to and including life support to get her into Trump's 4th year and then let her go. That way the left can attempt to use the Biden rule to keep him from appointing a replacement. Probably won't work since McConnell is running the senate, but they sure can sure try to make a mess of things..

I believe the Biden Rule applies to "lame duck" Presidents. Which isn't the case with Trump as he can run (and most likely win) in 2020.

As to RBG I would venture her clerks have been writing her opinions for some years.

Today, for the first time since surgery RGB has returned to the SC for a private conference.

I had previously heard, off the record, the the surgery was significantly more than removing two small tumors. It was confirmed today that doctors removed about half of her left lung. That does not bode well for her. But it also indicates she will probably never retire. At least until she is unable to perform her job.

I no longer accept "photos" or "images" as proof of anything much less a report.

it's getting to the point unless I can stick a needle in a random part of a body of a "person" and draw blood it's all suspect.

funny how she decides to show her face the same day as the SOE declaration is made. no room in the news for "HEEERRREEES RUTHIE!!!"

Ah, yes... Next Tuesday, Feb. 19, will be yet more oral arguments RBG will be missing. Don't let those nasty Right-wing, constitutionalists tell you how or when to do your work! Stick that finger in their collective eye. You go, girl!!

P.S. Stay in bed and have as many bon-bons as you feel like. The business of the SCOTUS and the country can wait.

WASHINGTON — Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg returned to the Supreme Court on Friday to participate in a private conference at which the justices considered adding cases to the court’s docket, a court spokeswoman said. It was Justice Ginsburg’s first appearance at the court since undergoing cancer surgery in December.

Among the cases under consideration at Friday’s conference were ones on whether the Trump administration may add a question on citizenship to the census and whether a federal law barring employment discrimination applies to gay men and lesbians...

So, not dead but mostly dead.

Senate Dems Delete Embarrassing Poll Showing 70% Prefer Kavanaugh Over RBG
Well that didn't work out as planned...

Assuming their own echo chamber would provide an 'obvious' conclusion, providing self-aggrandizing virtue signaling ammunition for the next news cycle attack on the vast right-wing conspiracy, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee tweeted out a simple poll to its 107,000 followers:
