Not breathtaking, but a cool pic I took while dove hunting:

If you look close, you can see the rattlesnake with a dove I shot in its mouth. It only took about 5 minutes for the snake to find the downed bird and start eating it. In the top right corner is a camoflaged Benelli shotgun for reference for the size of the snake.

 

How did ya train that rattler to retrieve birds for ya?

Nature, my favortie photography subject! I particularly enjoy getting out for a "photo session" during the winter.

1. Chunky, curious squirrel- late winter

2. I don't recall type of bird. Anyone?

3. Sunny winter afternoon. One of several tree shadow pictures taken that day.

5. Winter apple orchard sunset.

and this one shows my old brown tough Ford truck parked in a parking area far above looking down on this lake ( Lake Marie ) which I just showed in the previous pic. In the past I have climbed to the top of a couple of the high mtns looking down also on this area in southern Wyoming >

Those are nice pics and wish I had a cave like that. Think I would make it into another bunker.

But your pic looks upside down with the fire etc. on the roof?

I see you are in Australia so I guess that explains it. :thumb:

 

A waterfall I found while on a short hike from the house. I'm not sure how many know it's there, but not too many. I named it skinnydip falls, for reasons you can figure out. Next summer I plan on soaking up the sun rays there. It's pretty deep too. considering I took the picture on the top of a cliff above it.
