As I understand the law you have the RIGHT to see and review the search warrant also in the state of Wisconsin you also have the right under law to DEMAND a black and white with a uniformed police officer to show up WHENEVER you suspect that some unmarked police officer is a phony.

The rules have changed folks. The criminals know that the last place where (most not all) people just obey w/o questioning is dealing with the police. The airline terrorists used to have it that way but not anymore. That however is another subject.

This was a problem some years ago in Wisconsin IIRC where they had some creep passing himself off as a cop in an unmarked car; the likes of which the cops use to bust speeders as the unmarked blends into traffic better. He sexually assaulted women he pulled over who thought this creep was a cop. Hence the change in Wisconsin law.

 

and while you're at it, make sure its a NUMBERED badge they show you.

The badge I carry is exactly the same used by the Houston Police Department, but is not numbered and says Security officer, not Law Enforcement.

Yeah, and you aren't allowed to say you have a search warrant unless you really do. But it doesn't stop the criminals from doing it...

No, has been happening for a long time before that. In my local newspaper, they'll give a description of criminals, but they won't say what the race is half the time!!! I mean, that isn't political correctness, that's just stupid. This has been happening for a lot longer than the past month.

 

Ain't opening door unless I see a squad car out front. And yes, my front door WILL hold long enoug for me to call 911 and verify- even if they use a sledgehammer.

 

Having been on the receiving end of a search warrant, if it were to happen again, I'd call 911 and request an officer. If there's something up with the cops serving the warrant, hopefully the 911 call would result in a relatively impartial officer to check up on things.

 

when i do come into your home it with paperwork and badges out where you can see them and i give you my card to tell you how to reach me with diff telephone numbers on the card to call me if need be..

my badge and id card is on my suit jacket pocket the whole time i am in your house talking to you so anyone can see it and take the id info if need be ..

 

i will give a basic breakdown for my job when i come to home to talk to you with a seach warrant for basic seach of the house..
or if i come just to ask a few basic question and answers profile set up about something..

so here how it goes for us ..

when you open the door
i say iam specail agent -O-and this is specal agent T-with the dept of int task force on etc etc etc and with our id wallets to them to see opened up both sides of the id set up for us..

we would like to ask you a few question about what happened out on etc etc area that day or night when you say you saw people doing something etc etc etc on federal land there

after we told you what we at here for we ask can we come into the home and talk to you about the subect ..

i have people tell me no and slam the door in the face a few times in my life and i people tell me that they will talk to me though the screen door and we did that ,

now for a seach warrant ..it a diff set up for it how bad you are and how much of a fight that we think we are going to get out of you is how we come at you by us

now we think that it not going to be a fight it about 10 people total armed with handguns and shotguns with a few local partol officer throw into the mix that we have borrowed from the local pd in the area and we give them a quick breakdown of the what we are doing and how we are going to do it,.


we hit the door with the partol officers in the lead with us right behind them with the raid jackets on with id wallets out and paperwork in the backpocket to give to you.

now if you are a really bad guy typle with guns and really bad personal problems with people and cops in your past .. it full body armor and flights suits and heavy duty weapons on us and ready to fight with you ..


i tell you a truth story no bs typle story about a guy that we went after one time down in central florida for drug smuggleing in indain land down there..

this guys was tough as they come he had been shot so many times it was not funny ,..and be run over by a truck and got up and beat the liveing crap out of the guy driveing the truck and drive himself to the er
was set on fire by another drug crew to get them to tell where he stashed his drugs at..and survive that to get lose and kill two of the other guys crew that did that to him..
he was just was a tough s..o..b.. person..
one of the guys call the guys mom that we where comeing to pick him up on a old charge that he was just recharge with ..

his mom had him seating outside on the front pouch steps waiting for us with his mom up on the pouch in the swing and told him to get up and meet the officers at the front gate..

she called the officer that she knew and told him to tell us that he would at the front gate waiting for us and there would no trouble out of him,,
one of the agents with the officer that knew the mom came along on the pick up with us waiting on the side streets just in case there was a problem with him..and sure eough there he stood waiting for the us and went and got into the car without a fight .. they drove around to where we where at he got to seached and cuff and did not put up a fight ..

later on when we where talking to him about the stash of drugs we had found on indian land someone ask him why did he come along with out a fight..

in is own words not mine this want he said iam scared s---less of my mon she takes no cr--- from anyone he says.. she would she hit him if he did something wrong

then someone ask him if she about the drug dealing and other things he said yes and she was ok with that he said no she had wished he gone to school instead being a drug dealer.. but he said i been doing for over 10 years now and i do not know how to do anything else he say,..

 

I like that story. Always respect your momma and things will go easier for you. And the cops too.

i have been in some form of law enforcement over thirty years and all those years all the bad guys who where real bad guys never miss up with there moms and love and repested there moms..
the guys name is woody mikes..
he will be getting out here in dec of this year..

when we where in the hallway waiting for court to restart after lunch he walked up to me and told to watch the one guy on a case i was working for the guy had booby traps around the house and yard so be carefull when going though the yard..

for i got this look like how do you know that he says iam not dumb about things i know the.- who- what and the where in the drug world
agent -o- and i allready thinking that you are going after next ..

i ask why the info and being nice about shareing it with us,..

he tell that he repaying the act of kindness that we showed him and his mom that night by allowing her to talk to him and give him some money for books when he is booked into jail..

plus he say i can not stand the pri--and thinks he a s---head person

 

Oh yes, and Rule number one is never open the door. My friends have had run-ins with corrupt officers in the past. If you open the door they will put their foot in the door and worm their way in. Never open the door. If they have a warrant they can bust down the door. Never open the door.

 

I believe the average cop is quite capable of holding warrant up to a window or sliding it under a door. Ain't no need to open it.

 

I would have asked to have my layer present. They would have said no. I would have allowed them to come in, then I would have called him anyways. I also would like all of you, found out which agency they are from.


Btw, 5 bucks says they were ACTUALLY FROM the Gov. It was probably completely legit, and even more possible they are an agecy we don't know of. Brown shirts possibly.

I doubt they were common thieves.

No sir, they are professional thieves. Our Government.

Doesn't matter if it's a real cop...I won't let anyone just come in my house. I've got nothing to hide...but with all the rights we have being chiseled away, I refuse to just give more of them away even if it makes me look like I'm hiding something.
