I saw that group trying to get signatures. They were presenting it as a referendum to "keep our children in school", NOT to repeal mandatory vaccination. People were signing "to keep kids in school" and then in the small print it was about repealing mandatory vaccination. I was really angry about them lying to people about what they were signing. If it's such a good thing, don't freaking lie to people about it. I wonder how many of those "signatures" were based on lies.

I agree with TXprep. I do not like mandatory vaccine laws even though I think the anti vaccine crowd are wrong. Since you have one law requiring public schooling you have to be careful of too many other laws. The kids not vaccinated should be put into separate schools to accommodate the parents at a price. They should pay extra for the privileged of allowing there kids to be exposed to all the other non vaccinated kids. Those that home school have to pay so I do not see where the problem would be.

I suspect a lot of the anti-vax parents might rethink the idea after covering the costs.
