The knit gloves I've been using are far from warm enough for the Minnesota/Wisconsin winter, so now I'm looking for a new pair. I figured you guys spend plenty of time outdoors so you'd be good to ask.

I'm looking for something as light and flexible as possible (I'd like to be able to operate a cell phone, but beggers can't be choosers), but highly wind-resistant and warm enough for below-freezing weather. I have Thinsulate gloves lying around somewhere for really cold weather and long-term stuff, but I just need something in between knit gloves and those big Thinsulate kinds.

So any suggestions?

Thanks:D:

I generally care two pair of glove one Leather set for the work load and a set on wool finger gloves with a fold over mitten pouch for normal use. Fold back the mitten part to work with small items like cell phones fold it back to keep warm. Clothes do not generate heat if you are not moving you will probably get cold.
