Try to find a pair of fleece with wind stopper. I have a pair that came as te liners of a pair of mittens. They are great for mild temps.

 

Recent weather aside, we rarely get 'mild' temps here from November til about the end of February. :xeye:

 

I generally care two pair of glove one Leather set for the work load and a set on wool finger gloves with a fold over mitten pouch for normal use. Fold back the mitten part to work with small items like cell phones fold it back to keep warm. Clothes do not generate heat if you are not moving you will probably get cold.

 

I use these for work, not that good for the cold but excellent for hard work, strong and made for ranch work. They do take the bite out of the wind though.

 

I have a couple pairs of those at my mom's house

 

I have military issue leather shells and wool liners. I use north face gloves for below freezing w/wind.

After trying Silk sock liners and realising just how warm they were, I got a set of Silk Glove Liners off eBay and can honestly vouch for them. Think they set me back about £8( US $15 ?)

Maybe not up to the most hardwearing of tasks, but if the going gets tough I just put a pair of disposable latex gloves over them and jobs a good `un !!
