I had a customer give me a very large box of non fat powdered milk. They are in silver packages that are thin. I was wanting to know rather than cutting each individual package. Could I poke maybe 2 or 3 pen holes in the bags before I put them in the 1 gallon mylar bags with the o2 absorbers.
Thank you in advance. I am new. not only to the site. But to preparing. I have come a very long way in a short period of time.
I think people that have been doing this for yrs. would be quite impressed. Please don't take that as boasting. The time and hours I have put into this is unbelievable even to me. Not to mention the money.

Why not, if you think you only want one out at a time, make smaller mylar bags and put an O2 absorber in each. Why? Because if you open that bag to take out one smaller bag, you will lose the ability of that O2 absorber to keep the rest good for as long as you want them to remain fine in the same mylar bag.
