Who would have thunk it. We adopted this goober. 84lbs of Shepard/Dane mix. He has given himself unconditionally. A student, then friend had an incident, and had to give him (scout) up. This dog is a "dude's dog". He's 100a% a guy's dog. He showed it this week when one is my best friend went to hug me. He barked, and launched out off the couch. He didn't know our relationship, and the hug he took for an attack. I stopped him, but it showed his feelings towards me. He's accepted my wife, in that he allows her to do whatever. This is a dude's dog. NEVER discount an animal's affection and loyalty.
