DEI in the Oregon Dept of Forestry gets Asst Forester put on Admin Leave:

To work for the ODF, you used to have to meet some physical requirements, including the Pack test - 45# pack walk 3 miles in 45 min. She does not appear to be able to meet this physical requirement.

Cool claim, but what you call the pack test, is the arduous level of the work capacity test- it’s limited to fireline personnel, mostly firefighters, fallers, and single resource bosses ( straw boss of an engine, piece of heavy equipment, or handtool crew) ( a [hand tool]crew strike team leader as well) Other positions have lesser requirements. Non fire fighting positions don’t even have endurance requirements ( for some reason job descriptions assume a massive need to lift 50 lb boxes though. )

Not a fan of DEI in general, but I’d be PO’d if the state of Alabama didnt hire qualified employees becase they were fat, had tatoos, or died their hair.

Pretty sure DEI chief ( or lawyer, dispatcher, secretary, finance, Human Resources specialist, etc) isn’t a fireline or fire protection position. If they did it would be under the finance/ admin section, which isn’t subject to the WCT.

IF they can fire someone for talking conservative politics...and they CAN...then they can fire a person for pushing their leftist politics.

DEI Chief shouldn't even BE a paid position, and we all know it. It's the equivalent of the commissaire politique in the French Revolution or the Kommissar in the Soviet Union, their job was indoctrination and reporting of "undesirables" or those with anti-communists thoughts. I mean....LITERALLY, their job is to eliminate anyone that asks questions or goes or even speaks against the leftist regime.

Whether it is schools, services or mindless bureaucratic jobs, at some point it’s time for normal people to walk and let the house fall apart. When fires burn out of control, when the electricity is out for days on end, when schools descend into total anarchy, maybe then good people will do what is necessary to fix things permanently.

Until then, negotiating with lunatics is a waste of time.

Before I clicked into this thread I already had a mental image of what the person looked like and BOOM I was spot on.

Has anybody even noticed that people like this all tend to fit a DEI stereotype like the person in the image?

What value is a “DEI trainer”? What do they produce? What useful product or skill do they bring? What does “DEI training” have to do with managing trees and forests?

Actually it's much worse that Affirmative Action. Eventually the 800 gorilla in the room needs to be addressed. Any honest mental healthcare professional can outwardly see an emerging profile on people like this..... morbidly obese, piercings, hair colors and a general self loathing effort to be as utterly ugly as a person can possibly be....then of course once put into positions of power or given a platform....projecting that self hatred / ideology onto other honest hardworking / decent people in society. Satan is having a good laugh right now at the 180 degree inversion of human dignity and self respect.

I wish I hadn't clicked on this thread. That slob in the picture looks like that nasty girl on the Drew Carry show named "Mimi". And no I never watched that show. My wife did. And yes, she looks like a trouble maker where ever she goes.
