Interesting. Could probably be mimicked for a small retreat/BOL home.

 

vERY expensive

 

I'm sure it has manual releases. the " rolling aluminum gate" would worry me, any teen with a tire iron or machette could get through that. and the walls are what 7', not too hard getting over that.

 

I agree there would have to be a way to disengage the elecrtic motors and open or close the window covers. The roll up door would have to go!

The othe problem would be if an earthquake caused any of those concrete blocks to shift off their tracks things could get interestig.

 

And not to mention, it might make the folks around it wonder what is going on in there?!?!? Would throw up a big flag...

 

That thing might work if it was in a settlement of like-minded preppers and survivalists.
As a standalone building it's a folly imo.
