These are great budget blades. I have three that I absolutely love. These are my current EDC rotation. I just received the one with the cleaver blade style today. These are all under $20 each at Fasttech and can be had for slightly more on Amazon. I know the are homages to other designs, but they are awesome knives regardless. Great slicers, fit and finish are top notch and the carbon fiber scales are my favorite. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

I own several Spyderco knives, these are every bit as good in fit and finish. Also, the similar Spyderco models of these two knives do not have an "axis lock", these do, as well as real carbon fiber scales (not CF laminated over G10). These would be over $150 if Spydie made them, they are $20-25ish and every bit as good, with slightly lesser steel.

Don't buy em' then, I enjoy them, they are great EDC knives.

PS, this ain't Bladeforums, we are open to good value knives that perform well, even if they are similar to some production knives.

I have some knives that are in the $10 range too, Opinels for example are great knives, you can even pick up some SAKs in the $10 range. Now, almost all $5-10 gas station or flea market folders are junk IMO, at least not something I am interested in wasting money on. There are too many great folding knives in the sub-$30 range.

The problem with the Ganzo knives is they are all knock off, decent knives or not if they didn't look like the big boys copying their style, almost exactly on some models, they probably would be another chinamart company that nobody would pay attention to.

I've only had my hand on one and it was a benchmade grip clone and it is nothing close to the real thing. Not a bad little knife but the lock on it had looser tolerances and the edge rolled easily if you put to narrow of a angle on it. I've got a grip more than ten years old that I flip in and out and have destroyed the blade on it from use and resharpening and it's tolerance is just as good as the day I bought it and the springs have never had an issue.

You get what you pay for and if you can't afford a benchmade and like the axis lock and the look these can be an alternative, probably the best alternative. That said I'd rather have one 100 knife than three 30 dollar knives that are less quality, but that's just me. Personally I haven't found a better locking mechanism for one hand use than the axis lock and if you find one of these that will due the job at half the price good for you.
Haven't tried their non-axis lock models.

Jack, why are you shilling for "ACE KNIVES" and why do everyone of your posts re-introduce yourself? The knives can stand on their own without some seller shilling his product.
He will not be answering you

look around for one of these panoz77, they a collaboration with Tighe, and they come with and without the serrations, but i picked mine up for 28$ CRKT MY TIGHE (pronounced mi' ti')
its a assist, and the serrations do cut cordage real well. plus, not as costly as the Spyderco/Tighe units.
carbon fiber scale, but look fast, as they discontinuing the line(why they moving so cheap)
first i wasn't going to get it, didn't like the scale cutouts, but for that price, took it and ran with it. turns out it grips really well with carbon fiber :thumb::thumb::thumb: .
