because the city is bankrupt, cutting down on police force, crime is rampant. Sounds like sensible advise to me.

Then he "clarifies"

“I’m not advocating that people go out, who don’t have any training, and buy firearms. I certainly strongly caution anyone who has children at home not to have a loaded gun in the house,” Penman said.

My kids are one of the reasons I keep a LOADED gun in the house to protect. It is secured and safe too. I don't put any in their toy box but I am not going to rely on a cricket bat.

With the same party that did such a wonderful job with Detroit, Newark and the economy of Cali, in charge of the Executive branch and the Senate this is not going to be the exception to the rule. They talk about the "new normal", this is the new normal. You notice the spending and printing of money continues right? Have you heard Tim Geithner or Obama name a single program, entitlement, foreign aid or anything else they'd like to see cut? You won't either, unless we're talking about the military budget. Pucker up, here comes "Forward"!

ROFLMAO sorry man that "here comes that "forward"" really got me:thumb:... Mind if I use it?

In all seriousness though you're 100% correct I just wish my family members would prep... The S would seriously hit the fan and splatter it on everyone's face here in the border, especially with those damned Cartels right across the river!

P.S. Someone should really make a meme with that "pucker up here comes the "forward""

Yes, its here. I live in a "nicer" hood in SoCal and yesterday some a-hole broke into my daughters car. They broke the passenger side window. It cost me $450 to have it fixed. My bedroom windows are on the backyard side of our house otherwise the thief would get to taste the buckloads from my shotgun :whip:

cant wait to get out of here

this.

Well if you know San Bernardino you would know to lock your doors and load your guns even if they had 10,000 cops in the city.
exactly.

Would someone please go trigger the fault line so Cali can sink into the ocean already? That particular appendage is gangrenous, it must be cut off so the rest of the body can live.
it is the land of fruits and nuts but i particularly enjoy my year-round sunny & 72 degrees.

You do know the only difference between my Kali Colt AR and yours is a Radlock bullet button which can be disabled in five seconds and a ten round mag? We don't like it but it still is a nasty and reversable weapon. We are far from defenseless and have more guns than many states combined.
this. the gun community is LARGE in CA.

people of california, grab your guns.... anything that does not violate california dangerous weapons control laws.
Of what use are non-dangerous weapons?

First it was Detroit Mi, now its California? Prime example of why Liberism works only in Fairy Tales. With all the gun control laws there it ought to be one of the safest places in the US. With all of the taxes and fees they charge, there should be no shortage what so ever on Police or any other public service for that matter.

You are correct and we have each and every clueless idiot Urkel voter out there to thank. The upside is the vast majority of obummer voters are unarmed or have a stolen handgun with 1 magazine. I cant wait until they are crying in the streets as they wait for big government to show up and save them.......FROM the other obummer voters. Hi-lar-ious...

FYI: There IS a city in California called "California city".

San Bernardino is a high crime rate area, "Inland Empire".

It's all fine and dandy that you can and must protect yourself and loved ones, nothing new there, however, each person that is forced to defend themselves will find themselves either bankrupt or paying out a wrongful death law suit, or both. Make sure your guns are in compliance with all laws. Unmodified. I have a bone stock .357 for this task. The laws are stacked against you if you chose an auto loader, at least that is what I found out.

I'm against any more laws, we have too many, but, one needs to be passed that states the criminal or his relatives can not sue the victim of their crime that resulted in their wounds or death. It makes the victim a victim twice. Gotta be something somewhere that protects the victim from frivolous law suits from criminals and their families.

Let it be known that if you break into a persons home or enter without permission that you risk being shot, what happens after that is your problem and your problem alone.

Sounds like a buncha drama designed to get more money for more cops. How about just stop making laws that hinder the law biding citizen their god given right from protecting themselves.

We already have that in Texas, it's called the "Castle Doctrine", prevents perps from suing you and even extends to your vehicle.

Don't pi$$ us off and stay off my lawn.......

If i lived in california, i'd practice mag reloads everyday. 10 rounds is enough if the criminal is dumb enough to stand out in the open and take it. But if you look at police in a high stress situation, even with all their training. Some shootouts take upwards of 100 rounds from a reasonable distance to take a suspect down, shooting from multiple angles from multiple cops.

It's not like people fight like during the civil war. Standing out in the open and engaging each other with honor. No, they suppress and duck behind cover, not every shot they take is for directly aiming and taking down the suspect. California's 10 round rules are stupid and only affect law abiding citizens. Any reasonable criminal would simply drive 1 state over and buy normal size mags and go about their business.

The whole need a tool to change out mags on a rifle is stupid too. Most criminals would jump on the internet and order the parts they need to modify it back to a regular mag release anyways. Again, only punishes the law abiding citizen.

FYI- We can own 30 round mags... but we can't buy or use them, yup, seriously. Lots of people own 30 round mags... they were "found" or previously owned before the ban. "Rebuild kits" are available aswell.

Also, there are a number of legal AR bullet buttons available where they can be switched back and forth... "for when you use your gun out of state".
It is a felony to use a 30 round mag or use a disabled bullet button in Kali.
So, both ARE available if they were necessary "for when you use your gun out of state".

Gun owners in Kali have actually made some headway against the liberal Dems who own and run the state. It will never be Arizona pro gun laws but its something. Check out calguns.net if you want to see one of the best pro gun and professional gun sites available. Look at the classified ads and see the volume of KALI guns being bought and sold..... Calguns also provides free legal representation for Kali citizens who are fighting legal gun issues.

gplaya: It's not about what makes sense because we all know criminals don't follow the law. It's about one group controlling another group, the ones passing the anti gun laws are also the ones that have body guards and they also have concealed weapons permits. Concealed carry permits are hard to come by in CA. It's about denying others the privilege they enjoy. Makes people less safe and more dependent on the govt. Exactly what they want, dependent public, taxed to death.
LA has one of the largest jails in the country. Gun control, one felony at a time.
