This POS asshat who killed that officer had a criminal record that could stretch from coast to coast! And this is yet ANOTHER reason why we have the 2nd Amendment....Castle Doctrine....and why we have the ruling "Warren vs. District of Columbia", amongst other provisions. Why wasn't this asshat STILL in prison? Thank the liberal scumbag dysentery for things like this! This story will both break your hearts and infuriate you at the same time! This was an act of bravery above and beyond the call of duty if there EVER was an example of that!:(

May God bless this brave officer and her family.:(

The criminal was on the streets because the judges come from successful law practices and return to successful law practices if not retiring from the bench. It's in their best interest to have future clients free to commit crimes. It's amazing how many violent offenders are put on probation or some other diversion only to commit increasingly violent crimes. My blessings to that police officers family.

very sad story..anytime I read about LE going into an apartment complex on family dispute call I fear for the Officer..a similar incident happened here last spring & the young police officer lost his life in a shoot-out with an AA gunman.

What is with these guys..?They get into a fight with their woman & they want to kill.!
They are worthless wastes of human protoplasm taking up space and stealing the air that we breath! They are nothing but cowards! There is only one solution to this problem for pieces of s**t like this!

And ANYONE who would show the least trifle bit of sympathy for them whatsoever is a part of the problem as well!

YEAH!! I'm VERY angry about this INEXCUSABLE tragedy of someone who had so much to contribute to society and was a pristine role model from the get go!

To the asswipes responsible....I hope that your "city budget bottom line restructuring" was worth it!

The officer was only 24. Finished the Academy in Feb, and just two weeks out of field training. She had wanted to make a difference her whole life. She saved the life of a stranger, I can't see anything that one person could do for another that has more meaning.

I am without words for the loss of this good person.

I worked at the Arlington PD during the early 70's while attended UT at Arlington. Of course I didn't know this young officer, but it's still personal to me. I wish I knew how to get in touch with the older officers that have retired and will be attending her services.

The judges, JURORS, lawyers, biased media, all share some of the blame in this tragedy. The officers are heroes that ride those 1-man units. May God bless this young woman's family and loved ones.

Or you could thank the Conservative prudes that have our prisons over maxed with petty drug offenses, because they won't legalize the evil marijuana.

Conservasheep

HARDLY!! Stop trying to hijack the thread! Marijuana legalization is irrelevant here! You have MORE than enough issues where you are to keep you occupied!

May the POS coward that killed her rot. I believe hell has a special place for scum like that. Sent on a "low priority" call. How very sad, indeed.........

Sent on a "low priority" call that involved "domestic violence" from a "repeat offender" who was already awaiting trial for a violent offense and out on bail. WTF is wrong with this picture?!

APD should know that the ONLY thing predictable with domestic violence cases is that thare TOTALLY UN...predictable! There MUST be consequences for those policymakers for this young, gallant, and selfless police officers blood is on THEIR hands! Think about it! THEY FAILED HER!!:mad:

May God rest her brave soul in eternal life.:(

god speed officer, god speed............

I happen to know a few LEO's who are with APD....good solid folks they are too....my heart goes out to APD as well as to each and every one of the officers for their loss.:(

I grieve with them but at the same time I am BEYOND livid and insensed at the obvious policies in place that played a direct part in the death of this wonderful police officer. I do not think that this needs any elaboration as I have already stated my point of view.:(
