I wouldn't go that far, not that I have anything against it, but it doesn't have to be the only solution, with no defining characteristics of each groups genetic traits left. I know plenty of people of all races that want to preserve their distinctive heritage and features.

You can prevent inbreeding as it is, there are enough people in the world that this should never be an issue.
.
I didn't even know any people of other races until I enlisted.

I spent 20 yrs as a hard core genealogist. Majority of the families had solid roots in that particular county for 150 yrs and they were darn PROUD of it. What they didn't realize is..... the inbreeding that occured as a result. I finally stopped doing genealogy when I couldn't figure out how to separate the bramble bushes any more.

The good news.... I'm adopted from a different state. I don't share the local gene pool so the man that fathered my children.... thank god my kids have a chance! My grown sons have since hooked up with girls from "out of the area". My grandkids will have a decent chance as well.

Ha, I've actually met some of them. Internet doesn't exist out there, most of the people in that area live their entire life within 40 miles of their house and never see outsiders. I grew up not far from that area. It's really hard to date someone and not have them be your cousin. On a couple of different occasions I had come close to doing so myself. Showed up at the girls do, parents heard my last name, "oh, you're so and so's son. Yea, how's the family, etc. What, you didn't know we're cousins." Finally said screw it and joined the Air Force.
