I'm sure this has been discussed at length but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for with the search function.

I'm looking for a good online source for buying Presious Metals. Someplace that has PM's in stock and ready to be shipped. Thanx for the help.....

I was using Northwest territorial mint, they weren't to bad as long as you bought more than fifty rounds of silver (not sure about gold). Lately, everyone is charging a higher mark-up. I guess you just have to think about what the price of silver and gold may be when the economy collapses, and may be that will help you swallow the mark-up now.

If bought in higher quantities, ebay is not bad either, you just have to hawk it, and don't get in a bidding war.

Also try craiglist. It's rare, but i have scored twice now with silver below spot.

I'm going to go ahead and throw out Swiss America. My first buys were from them years ago, and at least at the time, everything went fine. A bonus is that Craig Smith, the founder and CEO, is a real American Patriot.

However, I would really recommend buying from a local dealer. Just google gold or silver dealer. Online vendors will always keep records. If bullion is ever confiscated, the first thing the gov will do is confiscate those lists from the vendors. Many local vendors will not keep or even ask for your personal information, and if they do, many of them can be talked out of it. I have also found them to be more open about educating you, and less "salesman-like". You also don't have to pay shipping.
