Don't be silly, guns are restricted in DC and aren't allowed in the Capitol.

 

It will be very telling to see if this group is "legal".

 

The pic looks more like a bunch of chubby Mexicans than Middle Easterners.

The reports say this area is commonly used for target practice, I can't see this being some sort of ISIS cell maneuver.

I call hoax or major misunderstanding.

The 2nd applies to all citizens. No idea about theft or shooting at other hikers. It might be a misunderstanding based on their looks, or it might be something substantial.

Remember, the Bill of Rights is not a granting of rights, it is a protection of the natural rights that all men have regardless of origin

Now if someone is trying to murder people, then obviously they have chosen to surrender those rights

 

I'm going to need a bit more information. The story is very sketchy and full of conjecture. At this point it's just as likely a group of drunk Americans.

What red flags this for me is the lack of links to the local yokel news station or any other.

I can fully believe in an armed group of Turbin Terrorists, but this smells off.

Either this was a non-incident // bogus report, or they are shutting information down.

 

I think an ICE guy might have let some of his pics onto the web and thus a story was born.

There's a lot of empty space out there. Several of the 911 terrorists were found doing weapons practice by the Ca. D.F&G. before the event.

An actor in NJ was arrested for using an air pistol while filming an indie movie but a large group of 20 something middle eastern males, shooting guns in the middle of the night in the California high desert shouting 'allah akbar'-type stuff are detained on site and let go?

And since when are firearms registered?

Makes total sense. The local FBI agent probably got instructions from the DOJ to let them go without further detention nor questioning.

I think you might be onto something. If however it turns out they were instead deliberately told from the top to just forget the whole thing, and one or more of them are later involved in a terrorist attack....
