Hi! I'm Natalia and I live in BC, Canada. I found this board yesterday for the first time, through a link-back by Mel from my site. Mel, you wrote that long ago and I just saw it! Thanks so much! I spent much of yesterday and this morning going through A. American's threads of his books, though I haven't actually read any of the installments yet. I haven't got any further into the site yet but I know I want to get involved.
Prepping here in Canada looks a bit different, at least from my point of view. We are not quite the same culture with the apparent wish be armed etc. I honestly wouldn't know where to even find guns in our city, unless to rack my brain as to which of our friends are hunters. In an emergency we would be armed with bow and arrow, hammers, bats, etc. We'd be hunting with archery; thankfully I have a son who's into it. We can get guns but it's a longer and more difficult process, I looked into it once for a few minutes.

Well, as it's my first post I'm feeling a bit odd nattering on so will leave it at that for the moment. I will likely have plenty to say if I know more specifically what to talk about or can comment on others' posts.
