I have a 10/22 , Stevens 62 and a 1959 Marlin 80 , and there is something that I like about each one. But the 10/22 is my favorite

I shoot squirrel, rabbit, and coyotes with my 22lr. Turkeyand other birds can be easily shot, but not legal in my state. Also, If you shoot a deer in the ear area, you will get a quick kill. I have not done this and it is not legal in most areas to do so.

I mainly shoot a henry lever action rifle for practice. I do have a bolt action w/ scope for hunting.

Love um- I have been a huge fan of 22s since I was a kid. I have 4 rifles, (two of which are 10-22s) I have bought all my grand kids 10-22s... including my 5 year old grand daughter... she loves it... its pink

I have a Rugar 22 single six, I think its got about a 7 inch barrel, and can shoot 22 rifle rounds or 22 Mag with the extra cylinder. Its accurate enough for squirrels. Or about anything else walking in the lower 48.

My North American arms stainless steal 22 revolver that is in my pocket if i am out of my bedroom. At least not for the past 15 years or so. (I have had to have the main spring replaced twice but have shot it a lot.) this is my second pistol like this… the first I gave to my Grand Mother… I don’t know what happened to it when she died.

It holds 5 rounds… first is birdshot, (I figure most survival altercations happen with-in 10 feet- first round to the face would blind any bad guy and totally ruin his day… at that point I could dis-arm or use the other 4 rounds of Stinger hollow points as needed) . (last year I killed an 800 lb steer with one hollow point to the head, from this little pistol.

Nasty little gun… I can put it in my shirt pocket behind the cell phone and you would never guess it was there. I can hold up my fist… and you would never guess I had a 5 shot revolver inside. It normally rides in the watch pocket of my jeans. Love it!

Does that answer your question?

I have a few .22's and atleast one goes to the range every time. You just cannot beat the cost efficiency/fun factor of a .22 rifle !

I have an old Einfield that shoots shorts or longs. Loaded up with shorts, you can barely hear the gun go off, no ear protection needed. It will cut bullets holes at 45yards, for under $100bux.

As of now I have 3 22lr. The 22/45 target is alot of fun to shoot and cheap for my wife to practice with. The old ranger of my grandfathers, chambers anything those shorts are not very loud at all. My 10/22 is really accurate with the bull barrel and scope, but doesn't like ripping 25 rnd mags anymore.

Been wanting to pick up another 10/22 or similar. I already have the 10/22 mags so probably stick with that. One that I would leave stock as a fun rifle. They had some sort of 'tactical' one with a folding M4 stock at the little mom and pop place around the corner. I was already there to pick up a gun I ordered, and bought or traded for 3 others this month, so that would really be pushing it with my wife. They do have lay away tho, hmm we will see if they still have it come payday.

2 revolvers a pistol and 8 rifles in my collection but they don't get used much. ;)I try and keep 20,000 rounds of 22LR on hand but I'm showing 13,600 in my inventory right now. Somebody has been shooting my guns, now who in the world would do such a devious thing. :D:

Nobody shoots 22LR around here, nope, uh uh, just don't do it, never happen.
