I'm sitting here watching the footage of Baltimore burning, cops getting bricks flung at them... I'm beat-up and sore from a (unrelated) fight with a gangbanger yesterday, he's booked for agg assault on a cop, and he'll plead for probation and do it again... I also just learned that the 2 mexican mafia guys I booked for kidnapping and agg assault on a citizen last summer pled guilty and received probation, and one has already stabbed a new victim...
Everybody is concerned about the rights of the evil people.
There are literal gangs of people going crazy in the streets. These criminals travel to these hot-zones to participate. They are insurgents. The cops that make the line separating these criminals from the good citizens are getting our asses handed to us, standing there absorbing projectiles. When my head hit the ground yesterday and I saw stars, everyone just watched. I didn't let go of the guy and eventually got him cuffed. He's an adult, and 20 years younger than me. I don't know how many of those rides I have left in me. The line is getting thinner folks.
At some point I really wish the decent citizens out there would muster their rightful militia and reclaim their cities.
You/we fight so hard to protect the 2nd Amendment right. I'm proud of that, and I feel it is a critical liberty to maintain. When is the point you/we organize and USE that right, to preserve our liberty. Nice to have this sacred right, to maintain it, only to be scared to get it dirty.
It's a joke. On a piece of paper somewhere, we have a right to bear arms and organize a militia, but unfortunately that paper doesn't include a set of balls. It's apparent to me that the bandana clad brick chuckers are more committed to their cause then the good citizens are to their own liberty. The Constitution ain't going to engage, the 2nd Amendment can't lace up boots.
A lot of people are living in that fantasy that the "terrorists controlling the plane" are going to make their statement and give you your life back. I'm afraid the majority of people are going to cling to that fantasy right up to the point they hit the side of a high-rise building. Maybe it's time the people take their "plane" back.
Nut up folks. These brick chuckers do not have a right to victimize your cities and neighbors.
I could easier reconcile a head concussion for someone who gave a damn, versus total apathy.
Nobody wants to be the first to jump in... But, when you're the last, you'll be all alone and severely outnumbered.
Hell, most of you won't even show up for jury duty. Wonder why these violent criminals keep getting probation? Probably because our founding fathers didn't expect for our jury panels to be populated by the 12 dumbest clowns in the County.
Apologies if the preceeding came across as overly abrasive. It's a plea. Please re-evaluate your civic duties, what you are really contributing, and what furute you want.
