I love the old westerns. Gunsmoke was the best TV series ever.

Tombstone
Cahill, U.S. Marshall
The Quick And The Dead (the one with Sam Elliott and Kate Capshaw)
Rooster Cogburn
Lonesome Dove
Big Jake
Open Range
3:10 to Yuma (both of them)
Shane
Broken Trail

There are too many to list, but I do admit I have a fondness for John Wayne movies.

Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid. Lots of good quotes there too.

This is my favorite movie scene and quote of all time. Anytime somebody hits some thing too hard or breaks something with too much force I throw out the last line in this clip.

Anything with John Wayne or Clint Eastwood will do too

Haven't been any good ones in a long time
This is true

To me, most new cowboy/western films have wafer-thin plots, rely on expensive big budget special effects, revisionist history, and hokey gun shootouts with high-capacity revolvers shooting up to 13 rounds each

Silverado is another one of my favs..

ps - i hate it when they show gunfighters "fanning" their Colts!
Doing that literally destroys a revolver after one or two cylinders!! I've witnessed it happen first-hand. Stop showing cowboys doing that! LoL
