Here is what happens when you use your foot in your boot as a rest when you decide to make sure your AR-15 is all clear of .223 ammo before you do a takedown and cleaning…!

Some people should never own a gun…:taped:

If you look close you can see the bone in what is left of the toe...

Man I saw that picture about 2 years ago claiming it was a .45. Is that a shot of someone you know, or just off the internet?
I too have seen the same pictures, but the weapon attributed to being a 20 gauge shotgun. Such is the power of Internet misinformation...

The hole in the shoe and in the foot both don't look big enough to be a 20 guage slug, but could easily be from a .45. Looks way too big to be from a .223 though. There is powder burn residue on the shoe, so whatever happened, it happened close to the foot alright, but not in contact with the shoe.

I got this via e-mail and was tolld about the .223 in that letter. so I posted it.

No matter if it is old, new or a shotgun, .223 or pistol, it still shows a valuable lesson.... Got to be tough when you are dumb...:thumb:
