XD .45 or M&P .45???

I am going to buy a polymer .45 acp. The question now is what is the better all around gun, the XD or the M&P?

The grip feels very natural, and my shooting has improved over when I carried the Glock 19. I have never fired the XD, but I would have no problem recommending any M&P, due to my experience.

+1 on the M&P9 ... I carry one also ... nary a problem here either.
