What kind of private society do you want?
Do good under the law of love?
Prey on others, under the law of the jungle?

COOPERATIVE VS COLLECTIVE
A cooperative (also known as co-operative, co-op, or coop) is an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly-owned enterprise.

A collective is a group of entities that share or are motivated by at least one common issue or interest, or work together to achieve a common objective. Collectives can differ from cooperatives in that they are not necessarily focused upon an economic benefit or saving, but can be that as well.

A political collective is different, from both.
Collectivism is the theory and practice of the ownership of land and the means of production by the people or the state.
Since access to land is the foundation of all life, he who controls the land rules those who dwell upon it.

In the end, ownership, whether absolute or qualified, individual or collective, determines what kind of civilization you build.
CIVILIZATION - An advanced state of intellectual, cultural, and material development in human society, marked by progress in the arts and sciences, the extensive use of record-keeping, including writing, and the appearance of complex political and social institutions.
Inherent in the definition is the cooperation of individuals - to secure rights - to perpetuate and propagate - to combine efforts in civil engineering - to multiply output - to achieve things that exceed the efforts of one man over one lifetime - and benefit the most people for the least expenditure in resources.

Empirically, the goal is survival, individually and collectively. The use of tools, knowledge and technology to provide more with less so more can enjoy underpins civilization. Prosperity is based upon prodigious production, equitable trade and enjoyment of surplus usable goods and services.

A great civilization is the result of cooperation, in defense, and in creative production, as well as the luxury of time to delve into activities beyond subsistence and survival.

The nemesis of any civilization is the predator, his allies, collaborators, the parasite, and the mindless destroyer, the vandal. Unfortunately, prosperous people and nations are targets for these predators, parasites, and plunderers.

If a private society is to survive and thrive, cooperation in the defense of inherent rights from predators, parasites, and poltroons, as well as cooperation in economic development is essential.

That's not collectivism (socialism/communism) by any stretch of the definition.

Just call it a church and the people who at first called it communism or socialism will be beating down your doors.
great idea in this situation it would be following the christian beliefs

this isnt becauase i am or am not a believer but more so because i believe these christian beliefs have lead to at lease in part to the free society we have in north america which seems to be threatened buy the lack of belife in said christian values

The ideas of a Secret Society of the surface seems to be relatively harmless and are often time pitched as some type of brotherhood that you should belong to.

As these societies grow in size, corruption often times leaks into the top power structure causing the original intent of the society to take on a totally different meaning/belief/direction that the members on the lower rungs still believe as being altruistic.....it cannot be any father from the truth.

Once you displace God with a secret society.....you open up a door for many bad things to happen.

Just look at BLM and ANTIFA as your latest expamples

HK
which is why a strong christian belief would have to be infused in the laws or rulles of the group it is needed to have everyone accountable even the top

Thanks so much for this reply. The breakdown of definitions is extremely helpful in my theory. It has definitely evolved some.

On that note it would be something based on love

It would be for the financial gain of everyone. I know how many people who are stuck on the middle class hamster wheel. That if they had the right guidance or teachings and a financial leg up and they could be running there own business or doing something that they WANT to do. This would improve there lives and there families. It would also improve there productivity in society as whole. It would be voluntary but would have to pass some application process of somekind.

It would also be a united group of like minded people with similar interests that would be working to support those interests. These would include political and social beliefs. The reason I based It or used Christian beliefs is because it is the main belief in North America and is a religious system based on love respect and forgiveness (not forgetfulness) this is all some I believe we need again. Political because what our kids education system is pretty much sucks balls. No really it does. I'm in Canada so know more on this topic here but from what I've learned it the same everywhere.
These efforts would be supported by all members in the private society (Notice it not a secret). The more in the society the more weight it has.

A political collective, yes it would be holding land and passive incomes as the society's major income. I have thought on this and it it would be held some in society's title some in members and some in both, like if the society helped with a purchase or with financing. It would be great to get a mortgage through this society instead of bank. ( on that would it be able to start its own bank for this purpose).

On civilization we would want to be shaping our civilization in the way we would want it to go. Have a large group of people ( like all of us on here with common sense ) who could put weight on government to deal with real issues, and the media too while we're at it. I'm not saying we're pushing for socialism I'm saying push for capitalism and rights of the individual. The small guys need a bigger stick not a hundred toothpicks.

All of these goals would be easier and easier as membership grew. It's cheaper to get 1 health benefit for 1000 the 1000 health benefits for 1. If we had our own bank for just us we could set up our own loans and interest rates. How much do we spend on interest over 25 yrs. Most in the first 5 of course. All the benefits would have members wanting to defend our right to have such a private society.

For the record, a self employed person works 4x harder than someone working for someone else.

We have a church nearby I call "the helicopter church". One must submit 5 years of tax returns to be considered a member, and under go mandatory "counseling" that insists the prospective member must donate AT LEAST 10% of their income to the church.

The pastor (I have seen him) rides around in a stretch limo when he is not flying from one church to another in his helicopter. It is an egregious waste of money. But he was a good scammer for a while, he had his own credit union, counseling center (heavy emphasis gifts to the church would solve your personal problems) staffed by disabled/senior "volunteers" etc.

The last I saw the credit union and all the other offices (there were many) had all been shuttered, I don't know if the church is still open. Point being they had a collective and it didn't work. All like-minded Christians. But humanity gets in the way.

I would be very impressed if OP told me he did not intend to take ANY sort of leadership or even a board position in this.

Hey everyone. I am wondering who would join a priviate/secret society?
Base goals: Support and spread Christian beliefs; Support countries maintaining there sovereignty; support a financial responsible government.
The "order" whatever name. Would have enough wealth and businesses to manage all members expenses. Mortgage bills education and healthcare for all members, spouses and children. All member must have one family member working a full time job and both husband and wife will have to join. The member Will have to have 100% of take home pay going into account of said society and will recieve there allowance monthly to maintain a social life. There will be accounts to provide all necessary provisions a family would need to live a more then comfortable life. Food cars survival gear guns ammo and a two week vacation. The "order" would be dealing with mostly growing the passive income with the the contributuons of member.

Any ideas this?

You may want to read the history of the Pilgrims. Their first year after disembarking, they tried something similar. It was a colossal failure. The next year, they went with capitalism.

What a concept, a Christian commune. I think they are called Monasteries or Convents.

That said, it sounds like you are proposing a co-ed commune, interesting idea.
