Woman thrown out for complaining about 'man' in the ladies room

I worked at a big box home center for several years. In the back hall, women's room was on the left, and men's on the right.

I was at a neighboring store, which was evidently designed opposite of my home store, went to the back, hung an automatic right into the mens room. I'm in there taking a huge leak, and I hear a woman coughing. I was like wtf is a woman doing in here?
As I'm pretending to wash my hands, it dawns on me that there are no urinals, and I'm in the ladies room.

As I was exiting, I caught the tail end of a conversation in the hall, and it included "man in there". I walked out and got a bunch of weird stares from the employee's standing in the corridor.

I had been conditioned to just go to the right side door.

Funny. Makes me think of the restaurant here in my hometown, "McQuire's". It's an Irish restaurant and pub. The bathrooms are way in the back and if you don't know where they are from years of eating at McQuire's you'd never find them. When you get there, pay CLOSE attention to the bathroom doors. The men's bathroom has a sign that says "Ladies" with and arrow that points TOWARD the other bathroom door. The ladies bathroom door has a sign that says "Gentlemen", with an arrow that points TOWARD the other bathroom door. Follow the arrows on the doors, not the words.

Easier when you're drunk, believe it or not.

Never having been in a planet fitness, maybe their more liberal than golds? I have tag on membership at golds, and they usually have fox news on, I imagine they would not be so open to transgenders if someone said something about them using the wrong locker room.

Going to imagine the 'no judgements' policy is more aimed at not shaming the less..athletic members.

Another True Story From The Distant Past ...

Long ago and far away in my old home town, a national chain fitness center left many things up to the private owner of the gym. One place was very popular because it had only one locker room and shower facility. Small.

The place was gender restricted. Normally. Monday men only, Tuesday ladies only. Thursday men, Friday women and so on. Wednesday was coed. Everything. I mean everything. Wednesday the place was packed.

Yep. HB of CJ (old coot) Adults only. Very interesting indeed.

If you've got a Y chromosome you are male, regardless of what dangly bits are between your legs.

When science can rip the Y chromosome out of every single one of a person's cells, then you can call it a sex change.

At least that's my opinion. I refuse to acknowledge that men who castrate themselves and wear a dress are women. They're not women. They're some weird kind of sexual / body dysmorphic deviant. I don't want to oppress these weirdos, but nor do I want to be oppressed by them. Why isn't apathetic non-involvement enough for these people? Why the constant insistence on accepting aberration as normality?

So why can't those with dangly bits [Y chromosome] use the mens room?
Just cuz you feel like wearing womens clothes, or feeling womanly that day, does not mean I have to accept your presence the ladies room.
It's not about judging, it's about what is. If yer a guy, use the guys room. Sheesh!

If Gym's want to accomidate the phsyically confused, let them make a 3rd changing room.

Cool. So what I gather from this is if I happen to be in a particularly pervy kinda mood, all i have to do is dress like a lady and hit the gym. Maybe get in on some ladies room group shower action. Swing my ding-a-ling like it aint no thang. And ladies, if you dont like it, youre discriminating against me.

Good God, these are some screwed up times we live in.

The best part of this, is that it makes the feminist types put their money where their mouths are. You can't spout off the "we are all equal" stuff then complain when a big smelly guy is hanging out in your bathroom.

Men and women are different, AND transgender and gay people are too. We have designed our bathrooms around the first two. There are too few transgendered people to ask businesses to build a third locker room or rest room.

I'm 100% behind people having the right to be who they want to be, but common sense must also come into play. If you have a penis, you should use the men's room for now.

It only counts if the equality is against the female. The male can be discriminated against, that is acceptable/encouraged.

I knew a sexual predator who used to hide in ladies' rooms. He would have loved these new laws.

I guarantee we're going to see more rapes as this progresses. I'm glad I carry a knife.

The only thing you said was sharing a restroom is going to cause rapes.
Of which you have no basis to even argue as you have not even been in a situation where there are unisex locker rooms/restrooms. Now have you?

That's super well thought out. Probably the most rational thing I've ever heard.
You have admittedly only been in a unisex changing room which is not the same as a unisex locker room/restroom. Instead you decide to decent into juvenile behavior.

Do you have any way to disprove me or are you going to continue do dodge the question and provide a non-answer?

You're the person making the claim, it's your job to prove it.
Look at the Military's sexual assault percentages.
Yes, the military is Unisex in many areas.

All I said was there is no reqeon to having separate gender restrooms.
While having no basis or point of reference . . .

Then you say it would make people rape more. How about you show me your proof?
Facilities in Iraq & Afghanistan are unisex.

I can speak from experience, as someone who investigated these cases and someone who lived in a Unisex environment with TCN's.

You can't just say "the military has unisex facilities then link to the widespread sexual crimes and claim there is a link. Correlation doesn't imply causation. You should know that since you knew how to accuse me of ad hominem.

Maybe you're right though. Maybe when a man hears a woman pee he gets the uncontrollable urge to rape her. That's why the military has such a problem with rape and sex abuse. It was the unisex restrooms all along.
