I would like to take the time to recommend a seminar from TED by Peter W Singer on the Subject of Robotic and Drone Warfare. This is a development that has changed the way information is gathered on the modern battlefield and is widely used in both Afghanistan and Iraq. I wonder how people view the use of technology in future crisis or survival situations and if this has any implications for what you’re planning?

Singer has also written the books “Corporate Soldiers and International Security”, “Children at War” about the use of child soldiers in conflicts and the last book “Wired for War” that’s on the same theme as the lecture.

Some other lectures from TED that I would also recommend is the lecture about the Collapse of Civilizations by Jared Diamond and the lecture about Global Development by Hans Rosling.

So do you have any online resources that you would recommend for survivalists?
