No matter how "prepared" you think you are there will always be the unforeseen variables and "holes" in your preps that you can't completely cover.

Stop spending so many hours of your life worrying about these things - you can't control or change what will happen, YOU WILL ONLY BURN YOURSELF OUT!

Constantly thinking about "shtf" causes stress even though you may not be aware of it.

Find hobbies outside of "prepping" even if it's as simple as hooking up that Nintendo you bought in 1992 and playing some good ole Mario bros.

Trust me, your mind and body will thank you.

I personally don't think about it all the time. Although, a few of my new found hobbies fit into the whole "prepping" thing, I don't do all of those things because of prepping. I do it because I enjoy them. I don't walk out of my house everyday thinking today is gunna be the day. I just enjoy it. I was just sitting on my porch a few minutes ago listening to music. Just enjoying the sun.

im honestly scared lol.

but honestly because i dont have many preps, once i have some preps in place, it think i will be able to not worry anymore.
That's his point. You'll never have "enough", so at what point do you stop worrying and start relaxing?

Too many people think worry somehow substitutes for action. It is the most useless activity known to mankind; wastes time, saps energy, destroys happiness.

If you can only prep $10 a week, worry won't increase that by one penny, but it will make you miserable in the meantime.

If you look at what you do and call it "prepping," then you're "doing it wrong," as the pic-intensive internet meme goes. I don't consider myself to be a "prepper" or a "survivalist" at all, really. I'm just a person who derives a profound peace of mind from living is such wise that I acted very improve the lives of those around me and enjoy the ability to help others from God's bounty, regardless of what foolishness the world system embraces.

OH, thank you soooo much. I never thought of THAT. Sheesh.

People like you somehow sound to me like the most frightened of us all.

The beautiful thing about worry is that EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING is better. So, if you do the world's crappiest job at the least important part of your plans, it was still INFINITELY better than worrying. And that's AWESOME! :thumb:

I couldn't agree with you any more. It's comical how paranoid many are. Live your life worry free it will be a much better experience and If something happens don't panic. Adapt and survive. Knowledge is much more important than how much you hoard.
