When the world raises up against us, who would you follow?

- The pot smoking, girly man, hippie, activist?

or

- The drinking, cussing, fighting, tough guy?

Tough decision.... thinking...thinking...thinking...

I vote the tough guy. :thumb:

Although I am not in this USA communist borg collective known as "we" or "us", as thewall randomly and arbitrarily defines it, I will answer the question anyway;

who would you follow?
I will follow nobody.

May I remind the OP also that this is not a speed dating website, please use PMs for subliminal ads like this. Perhaps a google search will find you the sort of site you are looking for; that which can hook you up with a burly tough guy, who you can hang on the every word of and who can protect you postshtf

Second guy- no question. If I had the option, however- I'd go with neither. The tough guy's hubris may get everyone killed and the hippie's pacifism could get everyone killed.

The choice is between a stoner and boozer? Why? Oh, I get it! It's kinda like this election where the choice is between bad and worse, right?
Our country seems well adjusted to only having two worst case scenarios to choose from and we can't break from that mold that has been conditioned into us that tells us that there is no possible way that a responsible person who actually makes good decisions will ever be available for a position of leadership, so you have these two stereotypical piles of crap to choose from.

And all the people who want to go along with the game try to make their piece of crap look shinier than the other one and tell us that WE are the ones who are ruining the game for everyone..

People with "follower" mentality will always be followers.

You missed the classic example:

Who would you follow?

1) The man who was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college, chain smokes, and drinks a quart of whiskey every evening.

2) Or the man who is a decorated war hero. He’s a vegetarian, doesn’t smoke, drinks an occasional beer and hasn’t had any extramarital affairs.

Apparently history is not a good suit here. #1 was Churchill and #2 Hitler

1: Save the drama for Obama
2: John Wayne McCain: And even though he possibly hasn't done the things you say or doesn't have the vices you say he doesn't, he helped bring fascism to America by way of supporting the Patriot act and recent bailouts of his friends. No longer an American hero.

Anyone who would follow either McCain or Obama need their heads checked. The very people that BROUGHT us the patriot act are the ones we're going to be running from HAHA!

And considering that John McCain and Laura Bush are actually related, as well as Obama and Cheney (as well as Obama and Bush), it would seem that keeping it in the family, ISN'T something we should be doing right now.

Gawd, people are so dumb. HOW can someone not be bothered by the gene pool their favorite candidates are coming from?

I think that "following" other people is maybe the biggest problem this country has. If more people would just take the time to educate themselves on issues and the founding documents instead of taking other people's words as gospel, the US would be in a much better place.

If you plan on following anyone, remember this ... Groups make a more attractive target for machine guns and bombs. I'll watch, alone, from the tree line until I'm ready to make my play.
